Woo-hoo!
So, in some central European, Slavic and Baltic countries, on the Monday after Easter there is something special about WATER.
You get to say "Schmingus-Dingus!" and throw water at other people. Of course they will return the favor.
In Lithuania it's shortened to just 'Dingus,' probably because they are quicker to react! (Or duck!)
These things can get out of control; such as when a garden hose is used, or some folks telling me back in the 'old days' as school kids they hid under bridges and dragged other kids into a COLD mountain creek.
