Alright, this is a little game that I've played a couple of times, but I've never thought to take/share pictures of the results, UNTIL NOW. It's fun, and it doesn't cost anything except a moment of your time and maybe a little mucking around in your closet and some imagination.
It's simple really. All you do is go through your closet and make a cosplay out of things you already own.
But there are rules, of course!
RULE NUMBER 1~
Don't talk about closet cosplay thread You can't take a picture of a real cosplay and say "Well I keep it in my closet..."
(As an addendum to RULE NUMBER 1, however, you can mix and match different pieces of cosplay to make crossovers and unintended characters. For example, if you have an Ouran jacket and a Lavi wig, you could either be a Hitachiin twin or Lavi as a Host Club member.)
RULE NUMBER 2~
DON'T talk about closet cosplay thread If it isn't well-known, post a reference so we're not all bloody confused.
RULE NUMBER 3~ Don't put so much work into it that it's like another cosplay, ya know? This is supposed to just be for fun.
RULE NUMBER 4~ Original stuff is perfectly fine. In fact, it's encouraged.
RULE NUMBER 5~ Keep it board-safe, ya know?
RULE NUMBER 6~ It doesn't matter how many you do, just don't spam the thread.
RULE NUMBER 7~ Try to keep picture size below 500x1000, 'kay?
SO GET TO CREATING! GOGOGOGOGOGOGO~

I'll start by posting (link included) a picture of my Shinji Ikari Cosplay Outfit. (I did not order this outfit online. It came together, using what I had in my closet/dresser. If you don't believe me, you're an idiot.)
