Yondaime Raikage and or Killer B Cosplay

I am thinking of doing my first cosplay at this con. I know Naruto cosplaying is done to death, but I don't see either of these character done a lot, so I want to take a shot at it. I have seen some cosutmes at online stores, but there are not very good quality. I would appreciate any tips or advice from seasoned cosplayers

I am going to bump this as I did not get to attend last year, and I am still really interested in doing one of these characters. I would especially appreciate some advice around altering the raikage's costume, as I uncomfortable walking around bare chested.
