Well, for the past few years (but not last year) I often hold ball joint doll meets at Kumoricon. And so, I will be bring it back this year. We did have plans for a panel but I suck and didn't submit the forum in time. (We hope to have one next year.)
So, my self and fellow members over at Den of Angels are trying to find the best time. We are wait for the schedule to come out so we can plan around it.
THE MEET WILL NOT BE ON CON SPACE
Day: sat/day1
Time: 2 pm
Place: The Gazebo or around the gazebo
Rules: You don't have to have a BJD to join our meet HOWEVER, you must obey to these rules or we will ask you to leave.
1. Ask before touching or holding some one's doll. (If they tell you no, don't be butthurt about it)
2. NEVER TOUCH THE DOLL'S FACE. *
3. Photos are welcome
4. Questions are welcome.
5. If your going to touch/hold some ones doll PLEASE make sure your hands are CLEAN
6. Hold the person's doll by the torso and ALL WAYS use two hands PLEASE.
7. Be nice
*Doll face-ups can come off due to oils in your skin. Some times a doll face up can cost a LOT of money.
ABOUT DEN OF ANGELS: To become a member you must have some one "invite you". I am willing to invite people to den of angels. HOW EVER, these are the requirements by me:
1. I have to know you in person
2. I have to have a conversation with you about dolls (rather you ask me questions or just talk. And don't worry, unless I am busy I wont bite. I love talking to people about BJDs)
As soon as you bring up BJDs to me, I will ask you if you want to be a member of den of angels.
Once I feel conterble enough I will invite you to DOA.
