SE Portland/Gresham...so about a 25-30 minute drive to the Hilton/Red Lion.  Wished I could have registered earlier to get a room just to save gas and not have to contend with traffic each day, but I suppose the peace and quiet of my own place saves my sanity and wallet at the end of the day.
Prince McKupo is back in the action, baby!  Kupo!  Now, as for my "cooling down" cosplay: Jude Mathis, with both his Xillia 1 (100%) and Xillia 2 (100%) outfits.

Hmm.. gonna have to find out when I can next go to Kumoricon. Might not be until 2019.

Similar boat here.
Though the past two years of attendance, I've come up from NorCal. This is a relief if I've ever felt one.

Vancouver, WA.  It takes about half an hour to walk to the hotels from my place, unless I'm in my high heels (then I just take the bus).

Goldendale (old-and-stale) WA. About a 2 hour drive.

...I like it up there.
My cosplay plans for 2022 (thus far): Vanir from Konosuba

With pride I say I shall come from Southeast Portland out near Gresham. And I'll have a professional driver  (well at least retired anyway, heh.) bring me.

I definitely know what you mean...I'm only comfortable sleeping in my own bed, I know the feel of my bed as opposed to hotel beds that usually have...less than desirable factors about them.  Not going into detail there...

Downtown Portland.  Only ~15 minutes away, but we still get a room.  We frequent the late-night panels, and sometimes one of us needs a nap or is ready to crash when the other isn't.  Also, I'll be doing some serious staffing this year, so it totally pays to stay close the entire weekend.  Besides, I prefer to completely immerse myself in Con.  They just wouldn't understand back at my apartment.....  ;D
