If some-mod could please lock the other thread or something, people were concerned about it becoming confusing to meld the 2013 thread with the 2014 one.

I bought my pattern for my Robin cosplay on Tuesday unfortunately I'm completely in the $0 area do to an unwanted dental bill because insurance only covered $30. So no real progress for a couple months. But here's my cosplay check list.

I'm working on Albel now. I got the gloves sewn and most of the armor ready to go. I will attached the armor to one glove this weekend and probably start on the shirt and skit.

On another note. I am also going to cosplay Korra. Once I get paid tomorrow I will order the costume. Then all I have to do is finish getting in shape! I got this! MORE BENCH PRESS AND PUSH UPS TO MAKE MY ARMS BIGGER!

Got my fabric swatches for Nightmare Moon.
Been researching what sort of things to use for my armor. I'm cosplay going to try my hand at Warbla. Never worked with it, never touched it, never even seen it lol But Ive got a year to go so hopefully Ill perfect it.
Sketching ideas for my Nightmare Staff

Been sketching ideas for my Pinkamina CupCakes apron, need to get some clay and felt for the horns and wings. Anyone have any ideas on how I should do her blade? I was thinking Twilights horn and then the blade... but i dunno.

Started seeing a thread on coscm for the new Pokemon X/Y, and I did a lot of looking around, and Serena is freaking adorable. I'm going to cosplay her. I may also bring it to Kumori next ear since it's not a "layers of clothing" cosplay meaning it will ne better to wear in the heat. And the hat should help keep my face from being directly hit from the sun, meaning less sweat ^_^

Then, making the 2 side pieces she has on both sides (I think on both sides anyway, this series likes to e smetrical to make design easier) and making that a separate piece that has a higher waistband which will give the illussion of a high waist skirt all together.
Also, buy black chuck taylor style shoes (off brand stuff that doesnt have a big label on the side lol) and paint on the pokeball symbol.
However, I'm lost on the shirt..No idea what to do there..Nor do I know how to get that hat..

Making my skirt pattern (sorta, it's just figuring out how much fabric I'll need, unless it'll cost more then an already made skirt). I also finished making my leggings. They don't go up as high as hers, but I would rather have a slightly longer skirt, meaning the leggings should be lower to see the tops.

So I got some progress done today! I am working on my shoulder pauldrons and gauntlet for Albel. I have a progress shot of the gauntlet

And I also dyed my hair for Korra. I styled my hair quickly. I will get the hair accessories when the costume comes in. By the time I wear the costume my hair will be longer as well. AND I will be darker and have better makeup but I am excited and I think I can pull Korra off pretty well :3

Anyway, I got further with Fate, and gave up on Serena..

I will be hopefully getting the stuff to make my scythe soon..I can almost never find pics of her holing it..But the Bardiche I have in those pics, rotate the head so the long part is sticking straight out, and add a scythe blade..Anyway, that will have lights so it'll look like energy for the blade. Also, I bought boots (arrived today) that I'm going to use as bases for her armored boots..They won't loook exactly right, but better then nothing..
I WILL HAVE THIS FOR THIS CON NO MATTER WHAT!!

As for Pokemon, I have a few Mew gijinka ideas, but I also found Mable, a Team Flare Scientist..Totally awesome:

Pirate Seychelles: I already ordered the sword and black thigh highs, just need to make the outfit and buy the belt and hat etc, and the fabric.
Genin Kushina: I have the wig needs to be styled. also if anyone has any make up tips to make skin lighter like arms hands chest and face I will have thigh high socks so I'm not worried about legs. Same as the previous need fabric to make the outfit.
Fem Luigi: I ordered the hat and white thigh highs already and then I just need to make the dress and I am all set with this outfit.

As for a fourth cosplay I am not sure yet but my choices are:
Serena-pokemon X and Y
Eska-Legend of Korra
I am open to other suggestions

Ooooh, I'm so excited!

I'm planning on being on a panel and being in the cosplay contest. It'll be a crazy weekend, I know.

My Kumoricon 2014 cosplays are:
Finland (Hetalia)- 90% done, all I need is the flag.
Alice Baskerville (Pandora Hearts)- 0% done, I still need to order it. XD
Discord (My Little Pony)- 1% done, I have a sketch labeled with all the materials I need, I just need money. XD
PoPiPo version Hatsune Miku (Vocaloid)- 1% done. Sketch is done.

I decided to be Discord because he's my favorite villain, and because I haven't seen many Discord cosplays.
I'm just worried about the contacts.
He has yellow irises and red pupils. I was thinking about using the ones homestucks use, but those don't seem quite right.

See you guys next summer, I can't wait!

So for this year I have planned Chane - Baccano, Mamimi - FLCL, Annie - SNK, Painwheel - Skullgirls, Vanessa - KoF, Melfina - Outlaw Star and possibly Cruella Deville - 101 Dalmations :DDD

Made some major progress on my Cardverse jacket for Prussia.

Top Left: The fabric I got was too dark, so after some experimentation I decided to sand the fabric down with 120 grit paper to make it look more grey. The piece of fabric on top is how it originally looked.

Top Right: Showing the top to bottom differences with the red fabric after two dip dye sessions in red dye

Bottom Left: One devil cut out and next to it a sheet of paper-back web-fused fabric, ready to be turned into another devil!

Bottom Right: The devil on the back of the jacket, ironed on and ready to be stitched down!

So I am now starting to get ideas and make plans for future cosplays in general.

One cosplay I know for sure I wanna start doing is my FEM!Gamzee. I have this idea to sew the spotted pants as fuzzy pajama shorts for her :0) and possibly spotted stockings too, but the pj shorts is the main project I'm going to work on for the cosplay.

AS for the others, the progress is not planned yet until I lose at least 30 lbs. So if I DO stick with my diet plans, I'm positive I'll lose enough weight by the time K-con cosplay planning comes around c:

Started working on Elesis in her Pyro Knight outfit from elsword. Right now, all I have is the base of the sword done (pic below). It is made of insulation foam and right now only has a dowel for a handle. I am using this dowel as a stability piece and will be putting a PVC pipe over it. It is 5 feet exactly in height and wright now, weighs only about a pond or so..That part that looks like it's broken off and glued back on near the handle, is not broken. I cut it off so that I could have a stable structure inside it. The inserts and 2 sets of 4 pieces of scewer sticks taped together. This way it on't just snap on me.

My Ellie shirt arrived last week, so now just have to work on getting in shape then buy new pants for her and I'm done.

Going to work on my Elsa costume this week, I have all the materials I need, and now I also have the time.

I need to order a new corset for Daenerys as the one I had previously gotten was too big, and then I'll be crafting her skirt on my own, dothraki style.

Not sure if I'll be doing Teemo this year, it depends on if my friend is bringing Jinx. Sam is put in the back of the closet and will be brought out if I do not have my other costumes ready.

Not an "in cosplay" pic, but still..The wig is actually on it's way now, so I have to cut it a little in the bangs, and I need to go buy finishing line to make it so my Pokeball looks like it's levitating..But other then that..

On another Sabrina note..I may actually have another version..I have another cosplay that didn't end up getting done that has a sinilar style to the red in this version..I just have to add the other pieces..

But that's the MOST commonly cosplayed version online..So..No..lol Plus, the version I'm doing, is the manga version, BUT also the CARG GAME VERSION!! I use to have ALL of her gen 1 and 2 cards..Like how they had trainer specific ones like titled "Sabrina's Gastly" or "Ash's Pikachu"..I had ALL of her cards when they started that in the first and second gens...Technically I had every card in those gens, but still lol I took special care of hers. Anyway, that version is the same as the manga version (the album linked above). So Imma do that and more then likely wear that instead of my anime one to this con.

Found fabric for my Luxio tail+ears~! Already have the end of the tail plus one ear done, plus a perfect dress. :> Having trouble attaching the yellow to the ears, the fabric is so thin, so I'm having second thoughts about what I used. Going fabric shopping soon though, so hopefully I'll find something better for cheap...

I need to stop buying dresses before I know what I'm going to cosplay. I get half an idea when I see something, and then I buy it. And then I'm stuck with something that works with nothing else, and only a partial idea of what I'm going to do with it.

(aka: bought a dress for a maybe-Espeon-maybe-MewTwo gijinka.)

However, found a skirt for fem!Doctor. It's not quite right, so I might end up going with skinny jeans. :< At least I got a decent shirt to go with it.

Okay things around here (my house) have finally sum what calmed down at home so I have time to work on my cosplay for Pirate Seychelles. I made a pattern for a jacket based on one by Angela Clayton a very good cosplayer and seamstress in my opinion anyway I have the back of the jacket pretty much finished just need to sew the two halves together. This jacket is not the color that I want but due to lack of time to create a whole cosplay outfit I will only be making this jacket and a linen shirt for my Pirate Seychelles and use an old dress and white leggings to go with it. (this is to be finished by April for Sakuracon) but I will make a red thinner jacket for Kumoricon and that would be a whole new cosplay outfit except for the linen shirt.

I have yet to start my other cosplays but I will make my Seychelles cosplay(different outfit same person) dress to fit better and be more flattering.

Everything is basically done..Ive been too busy the last few days though, so..But this is basically it, I also have a bow that goes on the back, but I need to put the closure on the back of the yellow waist wrap that the bow will be pinned to.

This is where I'm at with my planned cosplays, and what they all are:

Scotland - If I do this, it will be if I'm able to get a family-plad kilt. - I have a few websites that have possible kilts.
Ramblin Rod - I mainly need to focus on getting the sweater and as many buttons as possible, hopefully of varying sizes. - I have about 30 buttons.
Poison Ivy - A genderbent version, he will either be a steam punk type or a 1940s type. - Nada.
C. Hawk - An OC pony that is a true Seahawks fan; is similar to Rainbow Dash in design. - A t-shirt and a plan for the cutie mark.

but am currently figuring out how to make and mount his giant wing type things
Since foam would be way too expensive I was thinking about pvc pipe, wire, and paper mache

I finally have both of Jude's outfits from Tales of Xillia 1 & 2 finished, just have to do a few minor detail touch-ups. I also need to get started on a bit of repair work and cleaning for my moogle mascot, along with improving my air conditioning system.
