This will be the thread for the Square shoots. All 3 listed above are the main ones.
The Square shoot will be the one of variety and allow any and all cosplays from Square games from any point in time.

All shoots are blank at this time but will have a time, date and location
I will be running both the Square shoot and one of the Kingdom Hearts shoots. I need volunteers to run the rest. So far I'm pretty sure there will be 2 Kingdom Hearts shoots, so I think I just need someone to run that.

I might try to figure out how to add some pockets on there so I can hold my Kunai in them..I might also make an apron and have a maid version to use this with..That way when I don't want it a maid, I just don't wear the apron, then when I do, I wear it..

All I have to do with Loli-Maid Larxene is sew the parts together. Everything is basically done..Ive been too busy the last few days though, so..But this is basically it, I also have a bow that goes on the back, but I need to put the closure on the back of the yellow waist wrap that the bow will be pinned to.

If all goes according to plan, I'll be bringing back game-version Barret Wallace from FFVII.

As for shoot place, if we can actually book the clock-tower before another group gets it, that would be ideal for the FF shoot. We've met deeper in the park the past two years, but it always ends up kind of scattered.

Clock tower was my FIRST want to place. The square stuff happened there last year so..
I can do that, but we need to all agree on day and time. We can make more than one shoot, but I can only attend one so someone else will have to hold the other one. I see someone up there wants day 3. That could work but only if the majority of people agree. I think this is the only cosplay I have that will have a photoshoot so far (haven't finalized yet) so we will see. I hope to have my Kyoko Sakura (makoda) so that will have a shoot if I do, as well as Pokemon, so I gotta make the shoot that I run on a day I can do it.

Well, first thing, should these shoots be discussed in their own threads, or can we get separate shoots planned in here without confusion?

As for the FF shoot, we have done two FF shoots the past couple of years, and it seemed to work well. Seems with Kumoricon being an extra day, having 2 shoots will be even more necessary than before.

I have no problem coordinating the FF shoots since I plan to attend both (if two) anyway.

We can throw everything here. I'm going to link if anything get's made anyway..But the Square shoot will be only one day, that will be one that I throw. Which will be any and all squaresoft/square-enix game cosplays. It's also more of a gathering of fans than anything. We have done it at sakuracon 2013 and akicon 2012 and we tried at kumori last year, but it was pretty dead. Hoping to get more than just KH and FF and it.


But we can talk about all the KH separate shoots. I'm thinking KH in the earlier part of the day then the Square one later. This is how we did it at Sakuracon and it worked. As well as we are doing it again this year. That kh shoot the same day will also be the one I hold, so any others on another day will need to happen without me.


If you wanna hold the FF ones feel free. The reason I didn't add it to the title was because I'm not doing a Final Fantasy cosplay, so I won't be attending that shoot.

Update..
I'm doing Sora now..I bought new fabric and I can finish it well before con..I also am like, half way done with my Kingdom Key (keyblade number 6, and the 3rd kingdom Key I made lol)


I am talking my friend into using my OrgXIII coat, and hopefully he picks a character I can make the weapon for (PLEASE BE XEMNAS!! I DON'T WANNA MAKE ANYTHING HAHAHAHA)

I am now just gonna throw up times for the 2 KH shoots as well as the Square shoot..If yall don't like them speak up..It makes it hard when no one says a time or anything..So....


Oh, also..I made the Square shoot and one of the Kingdom Hearts shoots the same day as this. That way we can all do the Square one together so no one has to change in or out of a cosplay..You know..Convenience and all..

Due to conflicting cosplays, I can only host Kingdom Hearts and the Square shoot on Friday. Be aware both are being switched. I am running the KH shoot friday at the same time mentioned before, and moving the Square shoot to friday as well.

Well I have to run both of the stuff happening on Friday (the KH shoot that day as well as the new time and day for the Square shoot) so I need them to both be times that everyone can agree on. If 5pm is too early for you, then suggest a better time..Since you are doing one not from Kingdom Hearts I don't have to worry about what time that is for you since that's not the same series, but the Square one shouldn't be that bad..I can't make it when it's dark..

Well I know that you have yours on day 2..I mean even a switch out for the shoot then changing back isn't that bad so....lol That's kool though.


By the way everyone, I'm hoping if the Square shoot is big enough, that we can get a 2 hour shoot to happen..If we have to move if people need that area at 6, that's fie there are other areas but yea, a bigger multi series shoot needs more time haha

Hot damn!! Sora is so close to being finished!!!!
I literally did a lot of work on him last night and today..I have the coat like 95% done (need to add the pocket pieces and the yellow straps that hold the armor, and them MAKE the armor, but that's not "the coat" so..), and I almost finished the chaps, and the shirt just needs the rest of the bias tape on the collar..Then my shoes are being commissioned, as well as I am 99% done with the Ultima Weapon Keyblade (I'll post pics when I can, I just need to paint the "teeth crown looking piece" and the chain), and the wig is easy enough to style.


I still need to get a wig that will work for Xemnas for my friend..I might have to resort to him being Roxas and have to finish the Kingdom Key I started, but I'll see..

Hey Jeimi pal ole buddy! Heyyyy long time no talk! So, you maaay wanna  consider moving the kh panel (the day 1) to a slightly later time cuz our KH panel is from 11:30am-1:30pm. It's not offical yet until after Monday, but giving you a heads up cuz that would be EXTREMELY inconvenient for everyone.  Maybe after the panel like 2pm or before even? To recruit them cosplays haha ;-;
