Spring Swap Meet and Hangout

Since Spring is here and Sakuracon is done. I was hoping to try a Spring Swap meet

I don't know, I'm just looking through all my swap meet stuff and curious, anyone interested doing an out of con swap meet. Everyone can bring cash and their stuff and we can look at each others stuff  buy, sell, or swap.

I would have no idea where to set this up or how, but ideas would be appreciated. Location, time, etc.

But all this can be a great time to say hi to those con friends that you miss so much, and see how they are doing. Maybe you will spot something that catches your eye and gets you interested in something new or rekindle something old to look into again.

Is it okay to also sell my stuff or is it just a straight up swap meet?
 
I believe somewhere in either a park type area would be a good idea, but then again I don't know....
 
Perhaps sometime in March on a weekend should work.

I am leaning towards more swapping rather thanselling, but either works.

Also Indoors would be smarter in case of the spazzy Oregon Weather. Only place it can snow rain and be sunny all at once.

I like the sound of sometime in March? Or at least until the weather has had enough time to calm down(also; maybe someplace with an indoors+outdoors option? Leaning more towards indoors however, but I dunno where that might be held.:L)

Agreed, I like the indoors option still. March could work well. Ideas would be loved, maybe we can make this a picnic as well, who knows.

I think indoors would be optimal, but I can't really think of a place that would accommodate various people plus whatever they think to bring with them to swap? Unless I'm forgetting some place really obvious, heh.

Maybe someplace with an offering of coverage should the weather indeed turn bad? I think I may own a gazebo. Pretty sure. Maybe. It's a distinct possibility.

I'm about 60% sure I have one of these. 20% sure I could get my hands on one should it turn out I don't actually still have the one I'm thinking of(it's been quite some time since I've come across it in storage, so.)

what about next month's meeting? Or the one in April?

Not at the meeting, it just feels like a crash of the meeting, so that is not a good idea.

Also that tent could help a lot depending on the venue. If we are in a more outdoorsy area I would come come and help.

I guess it depends on where it ends up being, but I'll double check to make sure I still have one just in case. Never hurts to be prepared.

I'm also interestered in doing this in May. Just as long as it's not on the 3rd(free comic book day!) or the 14th(I will be selling my anime swag at PCC Rock Creek's Haru Matsuri event).
