Last year there was a photoshoot at a pool. I was curious on how one went about getting permission to or whether or not some people had access through having a hotel key and whether or not they just let their friends in to the pool with said key? I'm asking for a different photoshoot that may wish to do the same thing.
I don't think they had permission, and that's not allowed either way. You can organize a private shoot at the pool of the hotel you're staying at and get permission yourselves-- but we can't organize photoshoots at a hotel or on hotel property that isn't covered by the kumoricon event space without hotel permisison, or for a large group at all.
If it's not in the event space, its not in the guidebook.Either way, this is a large gathering, there are atleast 30 people coming now as I know of and I don't think we would be welcome squeezing into their pool for a photoshoot.
