Spirit gum bothering skin--solutions?
« on: August 25, 2014, 10:47:20 pm »
I need to get something to attach to my upper lip and I did a test earlier and now my upper lip is REALLY painful. How should I manage this?

Painful, like a hot, burny sensation?  I'd make sure the upper lip is well shaven, dry and clean, free of oils.  The burny sensation is supposed to subside after the appliance is bonded.  But if your skin might be too sensitive for spirit gum, I'd recommend trying Pros-Aide or any other medical-grade adhesive, it's water-based and not as irritating as spirit gum.

Of course, if Pros-Aide isn't in the cards, I'd try recommending using liquid latex (if you have any) if it's any better!

Prince McKupo is back in the action, baby!  Kupo!  Now, as for my "cooling down" cosplay: Jude Mathis, with both his Xillia 1 (100%) and Xillia 2 (100%) outfits.

If you don't have liquid latex, they carry it at most adult shops. You just have to be over 18 to get in :P
