When: AFTER THE FEBUARY GENERAL MEETING TBA

What will we be doing?:
We're gonna go to the chinese gardens for a bit time TBA

Hang out at Wunderland Alavon..get our video game fix.

Then we will have dinner at House of Louie for delishous dim sum!

I think I can come depending on when. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what my schedule is like since that'll be during a new term. Also I may have to ask for the car.

I am very happy to see that many of you have expressed intrest in this. There's chinese gardens? Which ones are more fun to visit? The Chinese gardens or the Japaense gardens?

I don't know for a fact, but I think the Japanese Gardens are bigger... ^_^ I dunno if that makes it any better/worse. I think we should vote when it comes closer.

Japanese Gardens are way bigger. But they are up in Washington Park so they are kind of an impractical location. It's do-able, but a bit of a challenge. Chinese Gardens are in Chinatown right in downtown, however.

yeah, i would just go with the chinese garden so we're in the same area. Whats a good place to eat out afterwards?
Would people want to hit up a red robin or get japanese food?

August Moon is up on 23rd, which is kind of out of the way and outside downtown, as well as a pretty spendy shopping district. We might want to try to find some place to eat in downtown, but it would probably be best to base where we eat on where we go for fun.

i like suggestions! thats why i made this thread...i was just thinking that like there was a redrobin or somthing near downtown? But yeah, i do want to eat downtown, so i just tell me a good restuarnt in the area with reasonalbe prices.[nothing like 10$ a meal as cheapist.] Lets talk on MSN or somthing. I'll be on tonight.

HEY HEY HEY, there most definately IS an anime party at Chemeketa after the general meeting. It is being put on by the anime/gaming club in Salem. So, if you want to hang out after the general meeting, you can enjoy some anime, manga, games, HK film, etc...
