This is for the photoshoot..It said in the first post..Nothing in this thread taks about this being for any panel? I honestly don't see how you thought that. I'm sorry, this sounds mean or whatever, but when there is a forum specifically separate for panels, and there are hundreds of threads in this forum about photoshoots, I don't see how you thought it could have been for a panel..

So no..This is for a photo shoot. In cosplay. With a bunch of people. Where people gather to have pictures taken.
If it was a panel, the thread would mention that this is for one

Yes, I know there are a lot of forum threads, I have been on the Kumoricon forums and going to con since 2003.
The first post said this was a "Pokemon 2015 thread," and I was unsure exactly what that was/entailed. I do know "photoshoot" was NOT used in the first post anywhere. Look.

So as I said, I was unsure so I asked a question to clarify.

You stated you are running this. People running things get asked questions, sometimes simple or otherwise.
You should be able to answer a question in a non-offensive manner, without attempting to belittle the questioner. The response you gave is not a way to encourage people to come to your event.

Here is an example of a way to respond in a positive way:
"Hi! This thread is for the Pokémon 2015 photoshoot, no idea of a date yet." To encourage attendance perhaps add, "Hope to see you there!" or "Great for kids!"
If you're aiming for elitist, you nailed it! Good luck with that.

Though if this is the vibe of the photoshoot, I am glad I know to avoid recommending this to others.

Well I'm sorry if you feel that you need to have people avoid a large photoshoot. That's very friendly of you. If people answering obvious questions with any tone other than the sweetest most kind words, then you might not eanna be on the internet too much more. It's riddled with worse. If me answering the obvious is enough to make you tell people not to go to a gathering of fans and cosplayers, then go ahead. Not the best idea, but your call.

And don't tell me what my apologizing means. Some people apologize for accidentally bumping others, that doesn't mean they did anything worth having to say sorry for. I say it because of the other half of the internet..The half that thinks every last thing someone says MUST be them being a jackass. The cosplay community has a LOT of them. I'm not being elitist, I'm answering a question that was extremely obvious by just reading the thread. I'm sorry I didn't write the first post the way you would. That's why I apologized. Some things I say WILL sound like I'm just being a straight ahole. But I'm not. Have you ever heard that you can't convey tone over the internet? Think about that before telling someone off. They may not have meant things the exact way you envisioned it. You think it's rude of me to say what I did, but then post what you do? You's isn't any better. I'm not asking you to show up to this shoot, but you ARE welcome to come.

God I hate the internet..I have a way of speaking..It's how I am..I'm not saying things to be a jerk..If you take it that way, that's all you. Take anything however you want..Just remember that just because you THINK that, doesn't mean I meant it that way. And you're no better than you thought I was by assuming I was doing something on purpose and decided to just lay it into me.

Can we get back on topic then?

Personally I'd prefer after the Nintendo shoot on Saturday! I'm hoping to do link in the morning and Pokemon in the afternoon and change before or after Nintendo!

I started adding the photoshoots I'm running, to the photoshoot thread. SO I thought i'd try to get this finalized so we can add it before someone else takes a good slot.

Alright, so I think it's a good idea to first read this quote from my post in the nintendo thread:

I think also if the Thunder Gym has their own Pokémon cosplay contest, they should judge it at the photo shoot rather than having to cram into the games room to do it. I know they had a better space last year but still.

That sounds like a way better idea. Do you happen to know how to get ahold of them? If so, I'd like to ask them if this is a possibility.

And if anyone has music, I have a speaker. I don't have any Pokemon music so I can't do much there. But my speaker is really loud so it's all good. And I have a cable to plug it into a headphone jack of an MP3 player or iPod or phone.

Ah dang. Then I won't likely be able to make it..Certainly not in costume either because I have a cosplay planned already for Monday. I'll see what I can do.

Hmm..That really sucks. I guess until they reply, we have to assume it's a no for them. I mean, I don't see why we couldn't do one durring the shoot..It wouldn't be hard..Or do they do like official ones where they get an actual event happening? I don't know anything about these guys, so I don't know what their contest would be counted as..

So I was suppose to go as picachu last year I got a picachu mascot costume but it didn't come in until a week after kumoticon so i couldnt go as it. So I'm going all 4 days this year as picachu. I saw that you guys already have a picachu so hopefully that won't be a problem for the photo shoot.

Yeah, we always have multiples. Usually of some Eeveelution.

...Oh wait. Because Murph is the first (and I think only) person in canon to use the term eeveelution, and he asks you to bring him all of them, would it be ok to do a shot with me and them? Like, would any Eeveelution cosplayers be ok with that?

And I'm sorry about the size of that picture. I took it on my phone and it wasn't that big on my blog.

I finished the necklace today! I needed to pick up some rings to have something for the hooks to connect to since some butt decided that they shouldn't be packaged together what the heck. I also got the fabric for the cuffs, collar, and red accents. And I made the jacket in Animal Crossing so my mayor will be wearing it too!

Are you asking me? Like..Are you asking if it's ok for you to do this during the shoot? Or are you asking if any Eeveelutions would mind posing with you. The first one, no I don't mind. If it's the second, then I can surely ask during the shoot for all the Eevelutions to go up with you for some pics.

Anyway, it'd be easier to just use the photoshoot thread to figure out when shoots are taking place. The Nintendo one is in there.
But Nintendo is the same day as this one (Saturday) but at 3pm at the clock tower.

I'm gonna go as a gijinka Mega Lopunny for the full 4 days.
I'll possibly be non-mega Lopunny for Day 0, but only if it's not in ruins. And depending on the weather since I've been dying all month. So if I'm put on the list, just put the Mega Lopunny~

My boyfriend bought me a Lopunnite necklace, but sadly I'm slightly allergic to the metal, even if I'm wearing clothes on my skin. I got a small circle rash. It was very sweet of him buying it for me, but I feel bad not being able to wear it often. Any clues to solve this little problem?

Also excited for my 6th year here ^^ (And that I should really look at the forum often each year. Last year I got very confused looking for the Pokemon shoot.)

I added you as the Mega version. Also that sucks. I was thinking of doing a Mega Gengar and have the Mega stone as a necklace too lol I'm not, but still, sounds neat.

But if anything else I have to say, I wish you luck on your interviewing, and that I can't wait to see your Roxanne cosplay. Despite I had so much trouble with her when I first got pokemon Sapphire (is my first pokemon game ever), she seem like a charming character design. And oddly I like Nosepass. (though don't like Probopass that much)

So.. yeah, can't wait to see all the interesting cosplays out there~
