Hi guys! Let's have an awesome Sailor Moon photo shoot in the park like last year

There will be two Sailor Moon photoshoots
Photoshoot #1: Day 2 (Saturday) 6:30 PM, at the park by the Small Gazebo
Photoshoot #2: Day 4 (Monday) 11:00 AM, at the park by the Clock Tower
Please come to which ever one you'd like, or come to both!

Yeah, everyone and anyone is welcome. It'd be cool to get obscure characters too, or like some bad guys...I hardly ever see Sailor Moon baddies...

Also, what day sounds good for everyone? I think we should decide soon, as the time slots for the park seem to be filling up quickly, especially for Saturday.
Last year's Sailor Moon meetup was on a Saturday and we had a good turn out...so should we try for Saturday again? Or a different day? Friday and Sunday both seem pretty free in regards to the time slot openings.

At this time, my schedule is very open.  Just let me know.  There is only one Sailor Moon character that I cosplay well, and that is Doctor Tomoe.

Hiya~ I'm so happy there's finally a thread for this :'3 I'll hopefully have a Super Sailor Saturn cosplay done in time, but I think Sunday might work the best for me.

i think sunday is best as long as its earlier in the day cause i'm in pro-bending and the cosplay contest, so i'm not sure when i'm free till the schedule is out.

@riku-chan: Yes, it would be sooo nice if the schedule was already out...I'm wishing to see when certain things are happening too.
 
So, we have 2 votes for Sunday so far...hmm...
Last year the cosplay contest was on Sunday, but things could change this year, right?
But anyway, according to my program for last year, the tech rehearsal was in the morning, and the actual competition was in the afternoon/evening, leaving a time window of 11:30 to 2:30...I would imagine that the timing would be similar this year, and if we were do decide for Sunday we could schedule for within that time window, like, 12:30 or so.
But, yeah, this would all be speculation, and when the actual schedule comes out, it could totally be different. We could adjust accordingly if it doesn't work out though.
Ah, sorry, this is all kind of ramble-y... Let me know if any of that made sense to you and what you think, heh.
 
Oh, and I'm kinda wishing to do it on Saturday, but I want to take everyone into consideration ^_^

It would really depend on the schedule if I could do Saturday, it looks like we're all just waiting for that to come out. I like Michi-chan's idea though, we can always change the time if things don't work out.

While I do think that there is nothing wrong with having more than one Sailor Moon photo shoot meet-up (Naruto seems to have like, 3 different days ), I think that it would be cool to connect with the one started on Facebook, which is day 2 Saturday at 6:30. Then there will be more people, which is always awesome, right? I wanted Saturday originally too, hee hee
Anyway, since no one had added it to the photoshoot thread, I did so. I did not however, add a location...
Naruto and Pokemon have claimed 2 of the spots at the park for 6 PM. I think that leaves us the small gazebo. (Which is where it was last year).
I think I'll go edit my post on the photoshoot thread to say its at the small gazebo so that we at least have a spot, but if someone tells me I'm in the wrong, I'll gladly go fix it

Got my OC in the works for Sailor Moon Day on aug 15th. Silver Thunder or Argentum Tonitrui, Centurion of the Moonlight Legion. Going to a challenging and fun cosplay as it'll be my first sewing project and made to withstand both anime cons and LARP combat.
(meaning I have only 5 days to finish! ^^;)

Couldn't finish it for Moon Day. My machine went on strike. I do plan to get another one and finish it in time for con.
Truth is, the main parts of the cosplay, the white tunic and pants, are also part of my Attack on Titan and Pro Bending cosplays. So I can transform and switch out armor and accessories on the fly. (I sound like an action figure or a giant robot! ^^)

Hey Sailor Moonies
I'm planning an additional Sailor Moon photoshoot for Day 4 (Monday) at 11 am, meeting at the Clock Tower. The photoshoot on Saturday is still going on. Come to which ever one works best for you...or come to both ^_^
I'll be at both photoshoots, in different cosplays for each (Sailor Venus for one, and probably Sailor Moon at the other).

Another Sailor Moon gathering for Monday!

I'll be Tuxedo Mask for Saturday and than Evangelion cosplays for Sunday and Monday. Friday is either Tuxedo Mask or Evangelion. But if I can get organized and packed early enough on Monday, I can bring out my Luna (cat version) for the 11am gathering. But I can only stay until about 11:30am since I have to rush back to the hotel and change for an Evangelion gathering later that day also.

Excited to see all the Sailor Moon cosplays this weekend!

@EvaUnit: Don't stress about it, but we'd love to have you come if you can! And that's totally fine if you have to leave @ 11:30; still plenty of time to take a few pix.

Oh! I just wanted to mention that you can totally come to both Sailor Moon photoshoots and wear the same cosplay! Don't feel like you need to have a different costume if you come to the Monday one. But if you do have another Sailor Moon cosplay, of course you can wear it I'm just REALLY into Sailor Moon, so I thought it would be fun to have more than one meetup/photoshoot to get even more awesome photos, see more people, and have it another day so more people can come. Anyway, I just want everyone to be comfortable to come whatever day they want, and in whatever cosplay that they want

It was great seeing everyone at the shoot today! I didn't realize there was another on Monday ship maybe I'll see some of you again then. I had planned on plain clothes Monday but maybe I'll do Mamo-chan again.

Just realizing that I have lost my black camera bag. The last I remember having it was right before the Moonie photo shoot. Will be checking lost and found in the morning but did anyone find a case left around?

I'm sorry if anyone came to the mini shoot today... I was running late and traffic was bad and I got there at 11:17...a girl told me that 3 people came but then left cos no one was there... I'm sorry! I think it was you, jojo Domingo?  I was hoping to run into you guys and apologize

i actually went to that photoshoot because someone in a sailor moon group im in on facebook announced it, and it was fun. i was sailor andromeda.
