What are Your Kumoricon 2016 Cosplay Plans?

So, funky party people, what are your cosplay plans?

Haven't completely decided, but I know Fire Flower Princess Peach from Mario and IF from Hyperdimension Neptunia will somehow be in my lineup. Other than that, no idea yet. But I'll update when I figure them all out. I might bring Sora..No idea though.

My boyfriend and I want to be go as Pryyha and Jaune from RWBY together. Also my friends and I are wanting to do a group of final fantasy type-0 characters.

So I added a few..I went to Sakuracon this past weekend, and my group member came with. We decided on Mega Man X and Zero for this con if we can finish in time.
The other..No idea if I'll have anyone who even knows what this is..But Sega Saturn from Sega Hard Girls.
Oh I forgot to mention..Since I was talking about the Sega Hard Girls, does anyone know how I could insert that into a gathering? Like maybe a Sega gathering or something? Idk how many Sega characters outside of Sonic and Bayonetta there even are anymore..I usually host a Squaresoft/Square-Enix gathering for cosplayers of that game company, so I wonder if doing the same for Sega would work, too....I know there isn't gonna be a Sega Hard Girls gathering because I'll likely be the only one....But still..Any ideas?

I'll certainly be Schala from Chrono Trigger.  The Prophet should be joining me as well.


I'll most likely bring Giffany from Gravity Falls.  Soos will be with me, of course, if I do.


I want to do someone from the Zelda franchise...I've done Ravio a couple times...Linkle seems fun but I know she'll be a popular one.   (Nothing wrong with that but I enjoy doing bit parts.)  If I did Linkle, I would also have to make several Cuccos.


Little Washu from Tenchi Muyo in her nurse outfit would be fun.  I've considered this several times.  (Her hair though!)


Mrs. Brief from the DB series is a possibility, especially since I have a Mr. Brief.  It was fun last year.


It'll be weird not doing a Naruto cosplay but I don't feel like doing Temari or Haku.  (I've done Temari like 3 times and Haku was fun but not really my cup of tea.)  Not sure who else I would want to cosplay if I did something from Naruto.


Ayla from Chrono Trigger would be awesome but very cold and I already have Schala.




Long story short, Shcala from Chrono Trigger and most likely Giffany but beyond that, no clue.

Halloween 2010 Prussia will be my main outfit for this convention since I'll be in the cosplay contest with it. To continue the Halloween theme Cardverse Prussia and Halloween 2011 slave Prussia. It's a bit amusing that two of the Prussia cosplay will have tails to bounce about with.

I plan on cosplaying Snake from Black Butler, King Yuuri from Kyo Kara Maoh, Misaki from Junjou Romantica, and Logan from Captain Harlock. I am revamping my Tauriel cosplay for a different event so I might go as her if one of those falls through.

I'm juggling a few ideas. The definite one though is a Valiant Hearts group, with my wife and I cosplaying Anna and Freddie respectively (so we just need an Emile, if anyone's down!), but I want to bring more than just that. Haven't decided what else yet...

Mine are kind of all over the board, too. I can't decide who I want to wear. Normally Kumori is warm, but October is so late and it might rain or be cold (hates the cold)... I honestly won't know until probably October 1st...

• Yuna (FFX), some variation or something...

Not 100% sure on Zero now..I don't have the money to continue and I still have a LONG way to go. I still need to buy more foam for the crotch and chest plates, as well as I still need the body suit for under all the armor, more mod podge, paint, and sealer because I just know it's gonna be rainy all con because It's rained at every con so far for the last like, 8 cons in a row. And I STILL need to buy things for my OTHER cosplays on top of that stuff..


So I know for sure I'll have Linkle, because I only need the materials for the boots and gloves, which isn't much, and to not have to make her Crossbows, I might make her new boot weapons. I also am hoping to finish IF by then. And I might have my OC. Idk anymore lol

I'm working on a female Ravio from Zelda: A Link Between Worlds as well as Schala from Chrono Trigger.  Those are the only certain cosplays I'm working on.  I'm thinking about Giffany from Gravity Falls since I didn't finish her for last Kumoricon.  I'm considering Shizuku from Hunter x Hunter as well.

(in place of Palutena) but have no idea how I'd make her super awesome metal arms. 


So for now, maybe I can hope to have one of my planned cosplays shipped with a contestant on the dating game (prepares to be smacked for that pun).

Yes and no....I may double up....probably Edd for half the day and England for the other half? I don't normally like doing that, but they're both pretty simple costumes where changing from one to the other wouldn't be that difficult or time consuming. Plus there's going to be a Hetalia gathering....

My days are in flux right now, until I know what panels are getting approved and what days are open.

Day 0: Lolita, because I don't get a chance to see the Portland comm much, and they're some of the chillest people on the planet
Day 1/2: Military Ukraine (Axis Powers Hetalia) is up on the list, because I absolutely love that cosplay and I don't get a chance to wear it much. It depends on what day our panels get approved, if they get approved at all, and what day any Undertale/Hetalia meetups might be happening.
Day 1/2: Queen Toriel (Undertale), and this one's a big one and kind of complicated, so I'd be stupid not to make this one a full-day one. I might not get to wear this one at all though, because I need a handler for her, and my Frisk doesn't look like she'd going.
Day 0/1/2: Mega-Audino Gijinka (Pokemon), because after spending so much time putting this thing together, I will show it, even if it KILLS ME.
Day 3: Free day! HURRAH!

So far though, I'm considering Frisk from Undertale (already have most of it because of a video game night we had at a camp I worked at), and I'm going to try to convince my bestie to be Chara. Also tentative is Sophie from Howl's Moving Castle, but so far it looks like only one cosplay for now.

My cosplays this year are all from the Danganronpa series. ≧∇≦
I already have my Junko Enoshima that people may have seen at Sakuracon and Anime PDX, but this is my first time wearing it at Kumoricon. I also have Monokuma. And I just (mostly?) completed Izuru Kamukura. And finally I may have Nagito Komaeda done by Kumo. But it will for sure be done by Newcon PDX.
