Console Gaming Feedback 2016
« on: October 31, 2016, 05:05:27 pm »
It's that time again. I'll start...

+ MUCH MORE space than last year
+ Plenty of rhythm games to play
+ Seeing people's reaction to Gal★Gun Double Peace

- Rhythm games could have been more spaced out

If at first you don't succeed, give up.

I spent time in console gaming this year, so I have some feedback.

+ VERY spacious
+ conveniently located next to the dealers hall
+ eat lunch and watch people play games

- gaming filled up VERY quickly
- still no MINECRAFT :(

As the video gaming manager this year,

First of all I want to thank everyone on this post for feedback!

I can say that the only thing holding us back this past weekend was lack of proper network and a few hiccups in planning DLC for tournaments as well as an interest in tournaments that had been requested past years.

We had many technical issues pop up and did our best to fix them as they came about.

Minecraft was one of the games unfortunately that fell through the cracks while we worked with IT to update and incorporate the new pcs we added, and I want to  apologize for that.

We do plan on having it next year as well as other games like overwatch and other suggested games if sent through the proper channels. (Either to Programming@kumoricon.org or  Videogaming@kumoricon.org)

The space that was given to rhythm games was a lot bigger on paper, and again I will personally take responsibility for that space layout, and look forward to hopefully getting some help working the layout out for 2017!

If I missed anything please let me know, I want nothing more than to provide a great gaming experience for attendees and staff a like!

Thanks for the feedback guys,

Mistymarie "Kit" Wilks-Salguero
2016 Video Gaming Manager   :D

P.S.
I could not have done any of this without the dedicated help of my assistant, coordinators and staff. Thank you for another stressful but amazing year!
