AMV Spoiler Etiquette

Heyo. Long time AMV fan, and after this year's contest I've decided to make my first AMV and enter it in next year's contest. I love editing, so why not? Was wondering though, what's the rules/etiquette on spoilers? I have a great AMV idea that I'm really excited about, but would contain pretty massive D3:Despair spoilers.

I am so glad that the contest inspired you to make an AMV! We cannot wait to see it.


Our contest, and almost all others, don't have a rule on spoilers. We assume that people who come to watch the contest know what they are getting themselves into. We haven't received any complaints either. I do understand why you might be worried though. I made an AMV on Aldnoah.Zero that covers quite a bit of the anime, but I chose to leave the last and huge spoiler out of the video. I did this because of the tone I wanted to end on. I didn't want to end on a bad note. Basically, if you feel that it is important to show it, you should do so. It is really up to your AMV concept.
