I plan on going to Kumoricon '06 as Vincent of Final Fantasy VII. I would love to get a FF group together, does anybody else plan on going as any character from any of the FF series' games?

On a somewhat related note, my girlfriend and I will be booking a hotel room there, but we are hoping to get some friends to join us. Most of my friends have bailed on me, so we are looking for anybody who would possibly want to room with us. Anybody interested? Let me know.

That's cool. I'd be amazed if I saw a Quina costume. That sounds extremely elaborate, but I bet it would be awesome.

On the last day I will be Raine from FF VII. She is such a strong character and is over looked a lot. I just love her.

...errr, doin't remind me! I have to re-sew the jacket...my comissioner cheated on the sewing...and there may not be enough fabric left to sew it properly. (worst case scenario...I make a new one.)

Yeah, so have a good time at SakuraCon! I would be going, but I only found out about it about 3-4 months ago, and that is not even close to enough time for me to prepare and such. So, enjoy, I hope all goes well for you in getting things finalized for SakuraCon. The offer shall remain for as long as you would be willing to take it.

Oh, I wish I had all my costume materials right now. Then I would get it done, and I could possibly join your friends. That would probably be a great time, but alas......my costume probably won't be done until spring break when I can have the time to work on it.

It's coming along...just my sewing machine is malfunctionins (thread keeps getting stuck & wadded...) :x
Works for 2 in...then goes funky...not easy to work around. I'ld hand hand sew it...if only I could sew straight!

Awesome. It'd be nice to have another male character with us, as well. Zack would be sweet, Kadaj would be sweet. Anything would be pretty great.

Not yet, but you are certainly welcome to come as one. I want this group to be a union of any and all Final Fantasy games. So, FFXII characters are surely welcome.

that sounds like the bobbin thread isn't where its suposto be or the bobbin spool has too much thread on it

Seems like I'll be cosplaying as a Final Fantasy character again. I'll be doing a double-partner cosplay with my buddy Yatta Cloud. I said he should go as Vergil when I go as Dante, and then I'll go as Zack when he goes as Cloud.

my friends and I are cosplaying the turks. So far we have reno (me), elena, tseng, rude, and rufus XD ... and more are still recruiting!!!!

I know, that's the beauty of it... we're all making about the same thing, except with different weapons, etc., etc. WOOT WE JUST GOT HOJO I THINK... I'll look for you and is yatta cloud going as cloud again? This will be a fun year indeed.

I was indeed at Sakuracon. I was Dante from Devil May Cry 3, carrying around the big blue and red swords most of the time (also am Yatta Dante).

And yes, I am Heavensclone on the Sakuracon forums. The only reason I have an "x" on my name here is because of some stupid registration errors I was getting for "heavensclone."

Did I meet you at Sakuracon?
