Has anyone decided they'd like to go as a Prince of Tennis character this year at kumori-con? I'm going as Akutagawa Jirou, and I believe I know someone who might go as Shishido Ryou. If you're planning to go in Prince of Tennis cosplay I think it would be great fun if we could say hello at the convention.

Okay... Ive never seen or read any of Prince of Tennis. Is it really that good? Alot of people i know like it and are into it but whats is about and where can i see itwithout buying it?

Well, it's a sports manga (and anime) about tennis.  And of course it's really good, you should see it!  :)

I can bring Kamio along if anyone wants. I may be able to bribe my friend to bring Shinji too. Its the tennis uniform.

BTW Aurora, if you cosplayed Choutarou I would probably (for lack of better words) have a death seizure. *LOVE*

I know what you mean, I would too if I see a Choutarou-kun at the con, he'll have to peel me off him :D

Ahh! *has a seisure* I <3 Ohtori!!!

Yeah, I'm the Shinji. I'd drag it out again for half a day or so if people were into it and maybe going to do a photoshoot. ^_^

Too be noted... Riyuki and I both have Seigaku outfits as well. They aren't perfect... we made them ourselves quite awhile ago... but they pass. Ya know... I'll see about posting a pic if I can find one. I was Tezuka at Sakura-con 05, but my hair was a little too long and too dark.

A random shinigami from Bleach! It all comes down to which is cheaper and more wearable. I'm definitely leaning towards Fuji, because then I can wear the jacket and things to school~ :3

I'm the Shishido that Kekame was talking about.  I actually have a friend who has a wig that might work.  I'll see if I can get a picture of it for you, and see if she'd let you borrow it for the con if you can't find another one.

I want an Ootori!

I'm pretty short to, so I'm sure you'll be taller than me.  I'm barely 5'4"

Nice, I've looking but can't find any decent wig wigs that looks good.

does anyone reccomend a place to buy the seigaku uniform?
the ones on e-bay are too expensive. >x< and i lack any sewing skills.

Is anyone down with SATURDAY EARLY AFTERNOON for a Prince of Tennis photoshoot???

I was thinking like... maybe 1 or 2 o'clock? Is that cool???

Or is Monday morning better???

What I'm saying is that I'd rather not do it on Sunday cause I wanna be someone else in the cosplay contest. ^_^

Locationwise, does anyone have any suggestions? I haven't been to Kumori-con since 04, so I'm not aware of the new place's layout.
