For any and all who have seen and/or played the katamari games, one of the prizes for this year's charity auction will be a katamari ball made and added to by noneother than the con staff and congoers.  Starting with this weekend's meeting, feel free to bring stuff to add to the ball.

Go ahead and leave stuff for the katamari ball at sakurafest, one way or another I'll make sure it gets added even if I am unable to attend.

Oh, I've been cleaning recently and i know exactly what I'll be bringing for the katamari! One of my friends got a grab bag at the con and gave me her plushie.

I think I might bring my Giant Pocky too just for fun!
I wonder if my friend is ever going to make the strawberry version....

Ha I'm going to make a leather giant pocky and it will be 4 feet long.   Now I just need to buy pocky as "research" as I'm not sure I have ever had any

I'm bringing my collection of army men that I won from the crane games at the local 5 cent arcade. I go there every weekend....I waste so much money on cranes games it's not even funny. I kick allmighty ass at them nowadays, but that is only testament to the ridiculous amount of time I've spent on them. Plastic army men have many purposes. And I'm spray painting them all a garrish color of pink, just because.

I've never played it, but just seen the game and fell in love with it.  On a happy note, Game Trader at what used to be Beaverton Mall is willing to donate a game or two in trade for promoting them in the game room and they also want to add stuff on the ball.  They also suggested (and apparently spindrift and I think darkerlight are working on this) that because of what we're doing with the ball, we may be able to get an article/interview with a gaming magazine and bring us even more exposure.

I will definitely be there for sakura fest on Saturday, and have decided to do something a little different for the katamari ball.  I'm going to take the items people offer willingly, but I will also start an inventory list as it were, that way we can let others know who donated what to the ball (and hopefully which layer it's in) that way if spindrift and darkerlight are successful in getting an article in a gaming magazine around the ball everyone can get credit for helping.

Given that the May meeting is sneaking up on us pretty quickly, just remember that if you come to the meeting, bring stuff to put on the ball.  :-)  I'll take your name down so I can make sure we all know who donated what.
