2006 May 3rd Online Programming Meeting

Programming has decided that between the general meetings we will be having general programming meetings for anyone interested in volunteering, staffing, running a panel or just want to see what's up with programming and the schedule.

The May meeting is on yahoo instant messanger @ 8:30pm on Wednesday May 3rd. If you have any trouble with the time, date, or instant messanger, PM or email me and I will do what I can to make sure you get the information you need. Also, I will post the minutes after the meeting in this thread.

To join the meeting IM me as Nyco27 stating your interest and I'll add you.
Also I will be on Aol instant messanger (AIM) as Trinity Cleran.

I am also online just about all day wednesdays, so if you can't make the meeting time, or you have a real simple question feel free to pester, bug and otherwise harrass me. :-D

thanks for setting up the ability to meet online. on weds. it really can let the most people participate from the widest variety of locations.

i however have been having trouble getting yahoo messenger to stay active on my mac. every few minutes in the most recent meeting, it would "close unexpectedly".

if there happen to be any people on the forum who could advise me in some way to make my mac more able to keep ym chats going without interruption, i will be very very grateful. thank you!

I'm not a Mac user so I don't know what the best clients are for Macs but you could try a third-party client such as Gaim, rather than Yahoo's client.

There is a big list here, go down to Third Party for the list of clients, look for the ones with Mac in parenthesis somewhere, those should be your options.

Appologies upon appologies, but there will not be a meeting tonite. I've moved it to Friday at 8:30, (still on yahoo).

Im really sorry to have to do this but I have two large midterms tomorrow that am quite lacking in the preperation department for.

oof! perhaps if things are changing in the future, regarding meetings, email or ym or even calls might help. sorry to have left you a voicemail before i read this; i had only checked my phone, email and ym before i called. turned out ok; i got to clarify some important things with gina, and connected with someone who came to our first con--doubletree eugene!--and now joined the kumoricon_fanfiction yahoo group!
