I already have an order for a bunch for a POTC New years party at a Casino  in Vegas.

And why do chicks say Captian Jake is hot, he looks like the bums I see craping in public around eugene

Pirates of the Carribean is my favorite movie, and I've been waiting for the sequel. I'm so excited to see it! I've seen the previews for it, and it looks like it'll be really good. (Probably not as good as the first one, but you never know.) I originally planned to go see it on opening day, but it turns out that I'll be leaving for Newport on the day it comes out. T.T

@ Waffles.  Unfortunately the pirate hats is another thing I missed getting pictures of as they were done a few hours before the Halloween party as the customer was waiting for me to make some adjustments.  Just like the Aciliiess armor from the movie troy and the customer ran out of my shop in costume from the last fitting and has not come back for pictures.  And the roman armor for a church Easter pageant ware my camera died.  Next time I make one I’ll get pictures and put them on my web site (which is down for the next week or so due to several complications)

And even if a actress looks nasty in a film I say they look nasty even if they would be one of my favorites.

The girlfriend and I are probably going on the 7th. If not then, then sometime during the weekend.

Speaking of making pirate hats: Vondan, how difficult would it be for you to make Will's hat from the end of the movie (he's more like a muskateer than a pirate, but..)? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v359/Trumby/Will%20Turner/Hat/vlcsnap-69011.png

I'll give a non-spoilerish reveiw... It was good, but it's looooong. omg. Never buy a large rootbeer, even when you're sharing it with friends! I really liked the CGI on the Davey Jone's crew.... It was CGI right? o_o; Of course it was!

Ok, a few things.

1, that made zero sense. You're lucky I am not an idiot, and I was able to make out most of that. Please, for the love of god, it is not that hard to type properly on the internet.

2. I posted a far warning, if you either A) chose to ignore it, B) read it but ignored it, or C) missed it because you didn't read my post, except the part about Geoffrey Rush, than I cannot be held liable for anything you have done. That would be you're own fault, not mine.

Oh, and yeah, Geoffrey Rush being in the movie has been talked about pretty much EVERYWHERE that the movie HAS been talked about.

Now, we have to wait ten or so months, until next May for the Pirates of The Caribbean: At World's End, which is going to have a wonderful cameo of Keith Richards (Guitarist of The Rolling Stones, and according to Depp, his inspiration for Jack's mannerisms) as Jack's father, who has yet to be named.

I cannot wait for the third movie. Especially since its appearantly going to have Chow Yun-Fat in it as Captain Sao Feng. I havn't seen him in anything since Bulletproof Monk, so I am looking forward to it.

I recently saw the movie and absolutely loved it.  Why on earth did some of the critics not like it?  I loved it just as much as the first one.  I think my favorite scene was the last major sword fight.

@Dustin (don't know if this needs to be treated like a spoiler but I'm making the font light anyway)
Before I saw the movie I read your post.  It confused me a little but I ended up thinking you were referring to the actor coming back, not his role.  So even after reading your post I was surprised to see him come back.

And thanks for telling me there was something at the end of the credits.  It was worth the wait.  I knew about the last one and didn't know if that was the case for this movie as well.

Ya know, having rewatched the first movie last night with my Dad, then watched the second one today, also with my Dad, I can honestly ask the following question.

How the hell is Barbossa still alive?

HE GOT SHOT IN THE HEART.

Last time I checked, you really can't live after that. Though, these are basically small metal balls they're firing, not like modern bullets.

Still, if they do not explain that in the next movie, I will be very annoyed.

Umm, no.

You don't see Barbossa until the end. How is it even possible in the beginning? That would mean he was on the Black Pearl, and he surely was not.

He's talking about when they first go to see her and the monkey runs away, you see boots laying there, which you can only assume are Barbarosa's.

See, I never assume anything unless its a pretty safe bet. In this case, I wouldn't assume that, either. Considering Tia Dalma has all sorts of weird stuff from all over the world, I would most likely believe that those boots are either mystical boots or cursed boots of some kind.

Why else would she have originally had a Compass that doesn't point north? Well, Jack has it now, but thats besides the point, it was originally Tia Dalma's.

She has lots of weird stuff, true, but the boots had LEGS in them dude. I even noticed there was some dude in there but I wasn't expecting it to be HIM. the monkey hopping straight over there and hanging out with him was a very good way of foreshadowing who it was.

As for him not being able to be there, would it really have been possible for him to have been...oh.... an undead pirate in the first place? they'll definitely be giving some sort of explanation for him but I doubt it'll be anything logical. It's magic, he's literally back from the dead rather than undead.

Hehe... Just a bit of input on our previously undead friend... At the end of the first movie, he actually gets shot to the left of his heart.... But you know... I figured I would go into the lung atleast.... and there's always the fact they left him there to die...and he looked pretty dead... Neh... Hehe, I'm so happy, I've seen DMC twice now... wanna see it a third time. And a little bit of input on the Jack issue....Sure, may not look (or smell, supposedly) the best, but the look fits him in his own way^^ Plus, Jack's supposed to be the odd one out.^^ He's Cap'n Jack Sparrow! *squee* *looks at background of Will and squees again*

Still, if they do not explain that in the next movie, I will be very annoyed.

well why the hell is the monkey still cursed???
If there was still gold missing wouldnt they all still be cursed?
So y is he the only one?

You have to see the very end of the first movie and I mean the VERY end right after the credits.  That should explain why.

Oh, and step back a bit man, don't take your OMGself so seriously. Sheesh. It's teh Intarnet after all.

I hate the attitude that "Its the internet, its not serious". Thats a bad stereotype to have.

Oh, and this is a serious conversation. If you wanna joke around or something, feel free. I have no say in that, but don't tell me not to be serious when I am trying to seriously discuss something.

Besides, joking around all the time is lame. I know a guy that does nothing but joke around, and all he does is try to get attention. People ignore him because hes never serious.

When I am serious, I am intently serious. Likewise when I joke around, I do that to full effect. Maybe thats not the right wording on that, but, I am seriously tired right now.

Kimiski:
At the end of the first film, after the credits, there is a scene shown there the monkey runs up, steals a coin, and skampers off. Hence, he is an undead monkey.

I don't remember seeing the coin in the second film, it would be horrible for that monkey if he lost it, or anyone who stole that gold and had any hopes of restoring themselves if that coin did indeed get lost.

EDIT:
I am so tired I didn't even realize Negima answered that question already. Blah, I should sleep soon.
