At Anime Evolution there was a panel/showing devoted to these Japanese game shows, and that "slapping machine" was a running gag in one of them.

So...uh...this game is going to become a panel at Kumoricon, right? We'll hold it in one of the panel rooms that is next to one of the non-con hotel rooms late at night (for the apparent "keep quiet" objective...) :twisted:
