Hey kids!
This coming Saturday the 22nd of July LANime returns!
Come to the Kumoricon general meetind and stick around for the blast!!!
The event will be at Chemeketa Community College in Building 9.
The event will run from
2pm-midnight. We need everyone out, cleaned up, and GONE by
midnight.
Here is a rundown of what is happening:
-This time we are having a GAME SHOW that is going to be filmed and shown on the local UHF station.
our game show is inspired by those funny Japanese game shows.
We will be having: Sumo Wrestling, talent contest (with judges), trivia, Fire ramen bowl, and Tug O War.
If you want to be in on the game show we will be taking sign-ups at 4pm. Only the first 16 people will be in the show. We highly prefer our contestants to be 18 and over. If you are 16-17 you need a parent to sign a talent release form.
It will be great and there will be prizes and lots of fun.-We will have two large theater rooms showing anime in one room and I'll be showcasing some Hong Kong films in the other.
-There will be a room for manga reading, art creation, tabletop games like GO, Chess, YuGiOh, etc...
-There will be LAN gaming!!
There will also be open console gaming.
-if you come, please bring some food to share. we will have plates, cups, etc... for people to use.
-We will be having art contests.
-Cosplayers are encouraged to prepare skits for a cosplay showtime event at the closing meeting.Lastly, here are some directions and a nice easy to read map:

Turn right onto Cooley Drive NE to enter the Chemeketa Community College campus.
