From what I've gathered after seeing the first episode (And I don't remember the names):

A poor girl who looks like a boy goes to an expensive, high class school due to her excellent grades.  Unfortunately while wandering around she stumbles upon the "Hosting Club."  While she's there, she accidently destroys a vaulable vase.  In order to pay off her debt, the host club has her (though thinking she's a he) join their club and work it off.

Mostly a Shoujo storyline with some great humor in it.  I highly recommend it.

there are only 26 episodes of Fruits Basket so it is not a very long series, I am not sure how many manga books there are though

i don't have a favorite anime, but with just watching the first episode (i have watched all that is fansubbed right now) it shot up to be one my favorites of all time <333

yeah, i just looked at animesuki.com and they say there's gonna be 26 episodes. it better not get liscensed before it all comes out. i'd cry if that happens
