Everything I do now, because I still consider myself one, regardless of actually being more of an adult then some my age.

I've done a good amount of growing up in the past year, so I'm glad.

< I just beat Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and it was the MOST EVIL CLIFFHANGER EVER. And now my mom's boyfriend is replaying Heavy Rain for like the thousandth time and I commented on how horrible the voice acting is in this game. He made a reference to The Room and how they have similar qualities of acting and we decided that Heavy Rain is actually The Room 2 - Depressing, Rainy Edition

< Not enough people willing to defy the weather and come out and play. Do they not have time or do they think that there's little gain from playing a game, despite how cold and wet it can get.

And this game is much safer than football. I guess it's also because of that. Amtgard will never be, and never wish to be called, a sport. If you get paid to play and win and put on your A-game all the time, it's a business, a job rather than a game to have fun in. Yet because you'd be putting your all into it, people will want to watch and see the best play it out.

*sigh* ranting time over.

V Sakuracon. If you haven't gone before would you imagine it to be uber big, or if you have gone, was it too big in some cases? Like long lines, and crowds? (even though this is naturally expected for a con of its size)

^ I went for the first time last year and had a blast. It's huge but doesn't necessarily feel crowded since there's also such a huge space to fill. I don't know about lines since I generally don't attend con events.

nah, probably just gonna go with my usual black friday plans and party hearty (although last year I went and chilled at best buy so I could play with the AX-Synth Keytar they had on display)

Does it baffle you as much as it does me that most industries see booms in business reflected not by the advent of the holiday season, but by the sudden drop in profit margins exacted by retailers? You'd think retailers would just correct retail prices to be more rational year-round to avoid the hectic and occasionally lethal surge of shopping that occurs on Black Friday.
