< Ffffttt. Two new books came out that I want so bad! City of Fallen Angels (mortal instruments series) and Clockwork Prince (infenal devices) by Cassandra Clare. Can't wait to read them!!!!

^ Yes. My dad just got back from Afghanistan a week or so ago, and my best friend's husband was over there until just this September. Both people are very important to me, and you can't trust that they'll be safe over there.

< I have the next four days off from work and plan to do absolutely nothing.

Well except Monday my friend wants to go to the snow. I'm going to try to snow board and end up falling on my ass a lot, but it should be fun.

< Good Christmas this year. We had family over (most of whom I'd never met, thank you grandma for picking up strays all the time), there's most of a turkey still in the fridge, and I got a gift certificate to the fabric store so I can start working on Sakura-Con cosplays soon.

^ Hard to say. I can get bored if someone else is playing and they're, say, just going around leveling up. And I feel somewhat awkward sometimes if someone is just watching me play, depending on who it is.

^ Planning on registering an account on D&D Insider. All the resources needed to create a 4th edition character from any game expansion and even a system to run my own games, without the cost of several rulebooks.

< Snow isn't satisfying to me unless it's a good blanket worth. Enough to apply a sled dish to the hill at my local park without scraping road and grass.
