I dont wanna sound like a complainer or anything but...I always feel left out a conventions...I mean NO ONE talks to me. I mean I see a couple of my friends but they all like doing other stuff at the convention. I mean sometimes people give me these nasty looks and I didnt even do anything. Or they just totally ignore me. I mean I dont look scary...atleast I dont think I dont. :(  Yeah I sound weird but I dont really like being left out.

I think the way around this would be to get involved in something. Come chill at the Fan Creation Station, or play some video games. There's always going to be jerks, though.

You kinda have to be more outgoing.  Most of the time people aren't just gonna approach you out of the blue.  

Meet people here and try to meet them at the cons! It's always a fun thing to do and a safe way to meet web people :)

Thats usually what I do. I make conversation about someones cosplay with them, or make conversation after taking someones picture. You also meet alot of cool people from the game rooms and the many other activities in the con.

yupp. didos. this next con i will actually be hanging out with people and that really makes me happy. but i met them on here so you just gatta be frienly to people. a really good convo starter is to compliment them on they're costume and ask questions like what did you use and stuff like that. then talk about the series and if they're still friendly to you at that point then your pretty mutch friends and wouldn't mind you hanging out with them.........but that dosn't include everyone.

Oh my! My brain was just swarmed with an image of many Hinatas, Shinobus, and Nodokas all in one of the meeting rooms! No words! Just lots of tiny dot hovering overhead! @-@;;;

Actually sounds pretty cool. You would have to have something to do with after everyone has come into the room, like random discussions and stuff like that. Cause well you know thats what makes panels, random discussion.

Well MikaRin, if it makes you feel at all better, I gave everyone dirty looks during the convention and was barely awake the whole time. People would be yelling at me from like, 2 feet away and sometimes I wouldn't even hear them. I would be zoned out. I even fell asleep in the halls once or twice. =P

And uh, where you at Kumircon 06? Did you cosplay? Just curious. I was a first timer for this kind of thing.

No way! haha I totally counted once when I was twelve. I think it was.....five hundred and seventy five licks to the center.
