Just started viewing This Ugly But Beautiful World. No opinion yet, other than colors look nice.

Oh yeah, forgot. Watched a Tenchi movie today before work, Tenchi 2???

Also, got FMP TSR vol. 4 and watched it the other night. Liked it.

watching more Invader Zim ^-^ I FINALY bought the box-set and I've been sleeping to it the last few nights. I'm nocturnal by nature and need a little light/sound/stuff-going-on to fall asleep before the wee hours of the morning (and that's WITH the pills)

I'm currently half way through Strawberry Marshmallow.  The first coupe episodes didn't really work for me, but I'm starting to fall in love with it.  It's basically Azumanga Junior.

Ichigo Mashimaro! <3 I loved that show.

I just watched Haruhi Suzumiya as well as Chrono Crusade. Haruhi was pretty addictive..I think I watched it all on Sunday, haha.. <.< Chrono Crusade..really enjoyed that..though the ending was..eh.

Currently watching:
(these three as they come out)
Bleach
Naruto Shippuuden
One Piece (KF fansubs..so they are really far behind where Japan is at the moment)

I've never seen Eva so I think I'll watch that next.

Just finished Marshmallow!  It was totally wonderful.  I'm starting to find that I tend to like the kawaii shows the best - I really loved Card Captor Sakura and Snow Fairy Sugar.  Now, to track down the Marshmallow OVA's.  Anybody seen 'em?

Watched The Great Yokai War last night....everyone should see it! It's not anime, but it is awesome anyway. If you liked "Pan's Labyrinth" or "Spirited Away", I think you'd seriously dig the film.

At Anime Friday here in Eugene, we've been watching a new one called Kenichi. It's been good. Better than Naruto for martial arts, at least the arts seem real.

Also one about a mermaid who's a Yakuza chief's daughter, in love with a junior high school boy, and they have to get married, and dad wants to kill him. Excellent backgrounds, must have some art major working on them. They look really good.

At home, I've been watching This Ugly Yet Beautiful World. It's about a B-. And I've been watching some Tenchi Muyo stuff. They're all right.

Vallie and I were going to start that but Vallie's been to busy with the registration databases on the computer.

Tonight it seems we'll be watching House of a Thousand Corpses before LOST, I guess all this work is puting Vallie in a killing mood.

As for watching, Kahlan and I just finished Wolf's Rain today. What an intense show! Definitely on the top of my fave anime list.

I don't want to sound negative about Wolf's rain, but I found it so depressing, it took something away. I can't fault it in any particular way. I still remember it quite well, so it has much to recommend it. Perhaps it is too defeatist to me.

Hopefully Netflix has more Tenchi in my mailbox when I get home.

Yeah, I hear you. The last four episodes or so are just total spirit-crushers, with what would seem like very little lift to the ending. I think, though, the real resolution comes at just the last two minutes or so, after about four episodes or tragedy. So, yeah, the ratio can seem pretty imbalanced, but heck, I still love the show. If an anime or movie can move me to tears (which this did), then I know it hit me somewhere deep, and that makes it worth my time. Definitely.

Ok, It was Tenchi in Tokyo that came. The animation was not very good the first few episodes, but the story was great. I laughed very much. Disc 2 has better animation, and it is still making me laugh.

EveofAbyss - Like I mentioned before, it's pretty dark. The whole first episode, it seems like a black filter's been put over it ...
anyway, it's not really an anime I'd typically watch. I like the character design, but the story doesn't do much for me. :/ I guess it depends if you're into darker anime?

Yeah, while I will agree that the dubbed version makes the show more accessible to small children (the changing of certain plot elements), but for anyone who really wants to take in the show, the original version is the only way.

We've got a box of 10 year old fan-subs and bootlegs from a friend.
Last night we watched part of Fire Emblem (had a lot of voice actors from Evangelion)

We also watched Haunted Junction 1-4, that show is awesome. Right up my alley. I recommend it to anyone that likes Ranma 1/2.

Also considering cosplaying Zeiram for Kumoricon '08. Would be quite the venture, but so rewarding!

I just got down snagging a few Lupin III movies: First Contact, Dragon of Doom and Stolen Lupin. While I've seen First Contact already, it's worth picking up to watch again. I love it with a passion. The other two I haven't seen yet, gonna watch those tonight. Recently I've had a rebirth of my love for Lupin movies, ever since FYE had this sale and I got five of them in one day...

I need help.

I hope you guys were at the Live Action Sailor Moon late night viewings we've had at the con. It looks like we might not have any this year. Vallie and I had so many problems with last year's and now we're both way to busy to run it ourselves. At the very least, we should try and get the PGSM stage musical shown at some point, with the backstage special features!

Vallie and I started Harahui last night.
I'm strangely reminded of the Haunted Junction fansubs I watched last week.
