I finished "Fruits Basket" yesterday. It was VERY good, I really enjoyed it.
Hey, I'm glad you liked Furuba!  I really enjoyed that series too.  I didn't think I could enjoy a shojo anime that much, but it won me over.  Since then, I've been willing to try stuff I probably wouldn't have watched otherwise, such as Card Captor Sakura and Snow Fairy Sugar.

Man, I bought A Little Snow Fairy Sugar with all the other Geneon titles on sale. And I watched the first disc. But I am not so much in a hurry to continue. There are plenty of days where Netflix hasn't delivered a title to my mailbox.

Another title I bought was Master Keaton. It's a McGyver meets James Bond sort of thing, but more interesting. Someone has done some studying I do believe. I am going to be watching these on my Netflix off days first. I think I can hold off watching them...

Solty Rei is at home now. I am enjoying this. I keep wondering what happens next, and is this going to happen, could this happen? I like it when a show makes me all curious, and eager to see more. It has a good little MAJOR PLOT TWIST. And then that takes another turn! Oh MY! So it kind of makes it like a soap opera in the regard. But, I am still wondering.

I just started watching Mononoke and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.

Mononoke is just so fricken' cool I can't wait for the next episode.
SZS is flipping hysterical and the main male character looks exactly like Watanuki from xxxHolic which makes me like it even more XD

Starting season two to Kyo Kara Maoh. So far it is just working from season one material, and acts as if the viewer didn't have to wait so long to know the answer that everyone wants to know. Still enjoying watching it.

I've started watching Please Twins! the sequel to Please Teacher!  The character designs are great, the story is compelling and punctuated by some delightfully ecchi gags.

Just started watching Fafner. Seems to be another NGE sort of thing. Kids and giant robots, and adults who don't tell children anything, but expect them to go out and die for them.

Well now I'm watching:

s-Cry-ed
Initial D
Pretear
Claymore
Darker Than Black
Hidimari Sketch

TOO MANY!

Yeah, Claymore!! I need there to be more episodes.....which means I need there to be more volumes of the manga! I've been reading the manga (before I knew about the show), and I'm totally enthralled. It's the best thing I have read/seen in quite some time.

Finished Please Twins! tonight.  It was really enjoyable, in fact perhaps more so than its predecessorm Please Teacher!  Also, like the previous series, it was formatted as a 12 episode series with a thirteenth "bonus" episode, featuring ten times the ecchi and the main characters actually get it on.  I wish more shows would do this.

Am watching Boogiepop Phantom. Man, is that a funky head trip or what! More in the head than Paranoia Agent. Just for that, it ain't my favorite, but that's me. It's a well done anime. Weaves the threads of the story together, so that you don't understand, but things piece together, sort of.

I'm currently involved in:

1. 'So Long, Mr. Despair' (or Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei) [work in progress?]
^ The comedy that is put forth here is highly unexpected and very welcome too. This could have you laughing within seconds of the first episode alone, using naiveté's between two individuals is something I haven't seen before, but is rather intuitive I think...

2. and revisiting 'He is my Master'
^ This is a laugh riot, a pervert kid whom can't help but take drastic measures to insure he has high school girl maids stay at his mansion... as if bound by contract! Harems rule... in this case.

I'm watching so many shows at once it isn't funny. O.o; I'll just put down a couple of them.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei - Why are the subs being so slow to come out?
School Days - ... x3 Makoto is seriously the scum of the Earth.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai - Because it's awesome. x3
Doujin Work - Behind on this...
Shuffle! - I need to finish this...
Hayate no Gotoku! - Behind on this too.
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - I have the epic speech from 21 saved on my phone. xD

I'm watching a lot of older shows, too...

Watched Jin Roh, most of Ergo Proxy, and have started E's Otherwise, since my last post in this topic. I thought Jin Roh is the best of the lot, but then it is a movie, not a series, and has greater production values. I am enjoying the other series mentioned.

I have seen a couple episodes of Goodbye Mr. Despair, it's good.

I have been pretty much consumed by the need to tie up loose ends in my anime watching, so I have been watching through anime like a madman, finishing up a couple great series and putting my unrest to rest, lol.

I finally finished Fullmetal Alchemist (I know what you're thinking, "Where has this guy been?"), and I also finally watched through all of Record of Lodoss War (while paying attention this time, instead of zoning out like I tend to do).

I am now throughly in love with everything FMA. I mean, I already knew I loved the show before, but now that I have finished it, I see how absolutely amazing it is. Awesome. And Record of Lodoss War is pretty much the quintessential RPG anime, there is even the party, comprised of an elf, a dwarf, a warrior, a mage, a sorceror, and a thief. I love the vintage feel of that show, and granted, I got lost a couple times, but overall I was really into the show (Watching it with people helps, heh).

Saw Gedo Senki last night and one episode of Code E. I wish I knew exactly what to say about the movie. I am not sorry I saw it, but I can't say it was on par with other Ghibli ouvres. Best I can come up with, is that it didn't give me something special. Not like My Neighbor Totoro, or Spirited Away, which gave me lots of special. But yes, when it finally rolls into theaters a couple years from now, I will go see it.

I'm sort of watching Martian Successor Nadesico. One disc arrived broken, and it looks like someone tried to glue it together. And the others are gone. But it's like Gundam meets Full Metal Panic, but about 1/2 way between them. With all the holes created by the missing discs, I don't know if it has Gundam continuity issues or not.

Started watching His and Her Circumstances. Is it also called Kare Kano??? Confusion. Good story, but not so great animation. But this is also the second series that I have watched the ending credits, just because it seems interesting, not for the song, not for anything. FLCL, and this are the two.

Watched Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles disc two. 10 episodes and what, 3 feathers? This could be a long run folks.

I wonder if I'll get my copy of Haruhi disc 3 next week, or what.

Watching Slayers Next. But thanks ot Netflix, I have to start at disc B, because A is missing. I am going to be going through a lot of series that have discs missing, as I had put them off for so long. And now who knows if Netflix will ever buy them, so I can watch them.

It took a few episodes to get into watching Slayers again. It has been over a year and a half since I last watched any. The discs have been missing that long. sigh But it is starting to get fun again.

I really think His and Her Circumstances, or Kare Kano for the purists out there, is a terrific show. The animation is less than average, but I do think that when it simplifies to charcoal sketches for dramatic moments between him and her, that it really conveys the feelings excellently. But I do wonder how rare the two protagonists are in Japan. I know they would be about impossible to find around here.

Made it to Slayers Try, but not only was disc A missing, disc D arrived broken. Had to wait a couple more days to find out the ending.

Got some Planetes going now. I love this stuff! But then I was Sci-fi, long before I was an otaku. Great characters and story arcs. These folks went the extra mile, the bonus discs have interviews with NASA personnel about Space Junk. But no mention of DEVO. sigh.

Watched more Kenichi on anime Friday. Along with the first episode of Macross Plus. Gee, you used to be able to rent out the whole thing a decade or so ago.

Watched Haruhi disc 3, and Tsubasa disc 4. Good stuff, better be, as these I bought.

Also got to watch the rest of Utawarerumono. I wish Netflix disc 3 was available. I guess it go broken real early. This was cool, even if the ending was a little sad. Not as sad as Basilisk, but sad enough.

I'm somewhere around 11 or 12 in Full Moon wo Sagashite - a cute comedy about a girl with one year to live who is granted her wish of  becoming an idol singer.  Best of all, the shinigami who help her are a cat boy and a bunnygirl.

Have watched a lot of different fansubs of as yet to be licensed stuff lately. I don't know how much is going to be brought over.

I should bring a blank CD whatever and download the Kenichi episodes, because I think everyone else has already watched them, and don't care enough about me to watch them again. lol

I'd say Kenichi would do well here, but the main female has breasts. I think we can't have breasts on TV here. Not on high school girls. Unless they are in cheerleading outfits, I think.

Started watching Mushi-shi, very good stuff. Animation and story are top notch. Maybe I'll go as Ginko, I'd even have to whiten my hair! What a concept! lol

Also watched Hellsing Ultimate 3. Man, I so wanted to immediately start on #4. I think we really get to know Arucard more here. These could easily go to movie length and still barely scratch the depths that are there!

Oh, and watched disc 6, second season Kyo Kara Maoh. And am wondering, are we done yet? We are, aren't we? I guess I'll just have to wait and see if season 3 comes around.

Recently finished Code Geass: Lelouch of The Rebellion, Darker Than Black, and Zombie Loan.

All of them were great, although I knew what to expect from Zombie Loan since I had read some of it before.

Code Geass and Darker Than Black both surprised me with thier amazing plots, and attention to detail.

I'd definantly call Code Geass one of the best anime I have ever seen (And thats coming from someone who's seen far far far too much anime), and rank it high up there with stuff like Full Metal Alchemist and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Although Darker Than Black was almost as good, it fell just short of Code Geass, mostly due to the fact that at some points the story dragged a bit. Code Geass always kept me entertained (To the point that I watched the entire thing in just two days).

Ongoing series I am currently watching include Gundam OO, Myself~Yourself, Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-Kun, aswell as the second season of one of my favorites, Genshiken.

Recently I also finished watching both live action Death Note movies, aswell as the live action Prince of Tennis movie.

The Prince of Tennis movie disappointed me in several areas, while I can honestly say the Death Note movies did not.
