Why not count Ghost Hound? I haven't seen it yet.

Watched the Double Feature Tsubasa/xXxHolic dvd last night. I was disappointed with the Tsubasa, as it only seemed like an extra episode. Ok, the level of animation was stepped up a lot, but that was all there was. I was hoping for something more to further the story. Holic was pretty much the same way, except I couldn't finish it, so we will give a report tomorrow, or so.

I was just wondering if it would count, since it's on hiatus on my watching list.

I started out Kyou Kara Maou. It's a pretty funny story, plenty of comedy relief, but still enough plot to keep you watching. The most hilarious things about the show are the forced situation that the main character has to go through. It keeps you laughing for a while. XD

Hey Victoria, my sister used to live in one of the apartments above the Clinton Street Theater. She could get in to Rocky for free whenever she wanted. It was awesome!

I'm currently watching Tsubasa Season II. On the whole the show is less than the sum of its parts, but the parts themselves make for quite enjoyable little vignettes.

I love how it switches from past to present in every episode.

I actually used to really like the series, but now its like 'Ehhhhhh?'

I still want to see how it ends up, though. But I might be waiting a few years...

We finished up Seirei No Moribito last Friday.

We started watching the Story of Saiunkoko. It's a neat look at a historical drama/comedy. Too bad this is another Geneon title.

Anyone know anything about if anything is going to happen with Geneon stuff? It's been 6 months now, and nothing, except ADV fell through, and is itself falling apart.

I watched Batman Gotham Knight(Batman in anime form Hell Yes! It Kicked Ass!) and L Change the World last night. I really liked L Change the World, it was better (I Think) than the two death note movies. Dont get me wrong I liked those movies, but this spinoff was pretty good.

Macross and more Macross. It isn't so much fun for me to watch, I am doing so more as a study of anime, as opposed to simple enjoyment. Well at least I think is is better than Gundam. There are not the glaring continuity errors that drive one to distraction. It's giant robot soap opera! Or Young Robots in Love, sort of, Bender isn't in it.

Chevalier D'Eon. It's driving me nuts that they aren't speaking French. Plus I think they spelled his name wrong. Plus having the queen of England speaking Japanese is hilarious to me.

I think what bothers me most is that they take a real story and make it a fantasy. I don't think I had that many History classes. Maybe I did. Or maybe I just always feel like my fur is rubbed the wrong way when someone tries to tell me things I know are wrong. Whatever.

Good animation, and attention to details. But it just ain't quite right to me.

Started Berserk. Wow, I wonder if this is what some would call a classic anime. The animation reminds me of 40s Fleischer brothers animation somewhat, but not exactly. The cues that demonstrate that this is anime and not some older American animation are evident, but they are not so overdone as in other anime.

The story took me a couple of episodes to get into. It didn't help that the further you go along the further you seem to be going into the main characters flashback. But it starts making sense after only the first few episodes.

I am enjoying this anime. It isn't for everyone. No giant robots, no fanservice, okay there was one, but it was artfully done. But there is lots of blood.

Only watched avatar up to the whole mastering water bending and that was about enough for me, borrowed it from friend

Started Kino's Journey. Episodic. Good artwork. What's not to like really, except that maybe it is more of a drama, the tempo is not your normal hyperdrive anime. Or maybe I am watching it when I am pretty tired from work, and then going to work out, dunno.

I'm pretty sure Azumanga Daioh has always been on at some point when I am working on my costumes. Nothing gets me in the mood/mode better than those Culture Fest episodes with kitty hats and what-not, lol.
