Yeah, if I won the lottery, I would like to try to make a really god Godzilla film. The film makers seemed to think so when he is standing with Fujiyamasama as a backdrop, that's Mt. Fuji to the cretins. He invokes a sense of national pride.
Final wars was kewl. Like all the other Godzilla movies, it made no sense, but I pretty much just watch it for that xillian guy that was a Keizer(Actor: kazuki Kitamura). Ah the awesomeness!
I watched it for Captain Gordon the most badass American ever in Japanese cinema.

OMG TOTALLY! I like how he speaks english and understands Japanese.....makes it kinda sorta almost funny.

Just finished watching Viper's Creed. It has a Burst Angel or GITS SAC feel to it. If you like those shows then you should give it a try. I'm going to watch another Akikan episode next.

I went and saw Sword of the Stranger. My wife and I both liked the film. Was too sick with this cold to go see anime Friday. So we rented a bunch of movies over the weekend.

I was watching AMV's on YouTube and saw a show I had never seen. Tenshi ni Narumon!. This is one wacky show! It is about 10 years old, so the fansub isn't the greatest, but I suppose I am lucky to have found it at all. It looked interesting so I downloaded it and have been watching it all evening. I just finished episode #6.

Nazca. Didn't like it, but then Netflix only had the last volume. So it is unfathomable to me.

The Time Etranger. For some reason, I just can't get into anything older than 2000 anymore. I guess the animation and stories are too plus ungood for me to accept.

Maybe I'll put in Aquarion tonight. I got the other two discs of season one finally. Crossing my fingers, as I can't even remember what the other part was all about. ooooo memorable huh?

OKay, I remember what Aquarion is now! I was really getting to enjoy the life lessons the leader was giving his charges. But I don't think the show ended as well as it could have gone. I think they spent too much time early in the series on frills, and left not enough time, and didn't think about the ending until too late. Or maybe as they got a second season they thought they were going to get a third, but... oops.

Saw an episode of Captain Harlock, and actually enjoyed it.

Saw one episode of that 90s series, but the quality had been eroded by time, so it took a lot away from the experience. That and maybe I just don't watch anime to see how sill and goofy a show can be. There's American TV for that I suppose.

My wife and I went to see Coraline. That was cool. But the glasses made me wonder if when I do get glasses if I am always going to have to be moving my head to see things as I did for the film. I think we had to sit too close. I thought it was cool that the house is 150 years old, the place is Oregon, it was made in Oregon, Oregon is 150 years old now. And it looked like Oregon too! I guess it was Ashland due to the Shakespeare stuff going on in the town.

@ Higuma, you liked Tactics that much eh?

Watching Gall Force. I think maybe it could be called Gal Force, as there are no men in this production. Unless they are the funky aliens who have male sounding voices. For as old as it is, it's not bad. A bit of the sexist view of women though. Unless it is because these women are having to do things that they were not specifically trained for, not sure.

I'll finish that and maybe or maybe not watch Blazing Saddles. I love it, but I almost have it memorized, not sure I need to, ya know?
