Yes Man. Haven't laughed like that to a movie in a while. Don't remember my wife laughing all that much though. I think she may have let me laugh for both of us. Dunno.
Watched Kai Doh Maru. I really liked it. For using computers to render the architecture, it had at times a pastel and manga feel to it, very different from most anime. Not sure if I understood the ending perfectly well, but...it still worked for me. It's just a 46 minute OVA. Too short!
Also Five Star Stories. This is older, say 1989, but I really liked this one too. May look a bit Gundam, but no, well only one or two continuity errors! Not enough to make me go HUH?!? Seems like an early CLAMP work in the way things are drawn. Another OVA just a bit longer at @ 1 hour. I would not call this Mecha, even if they are in it. They have more like a cameo role, not the main story.
I watched the second volume to Disgaea, the first one, well go ask Netflix, maybe they will tell you something, because they aren't telling me.
Geez, am I going to need a second on-line rental place to get the ones Netflix doesn't have, or to give me titles that I have to wait for? I think I better get some high-speed Internet first. The things you do for marital bliss, I tell you! lol
Tonight I have Stargate Ark of Truth, or Serenity. I am hoping to save Serenity for when my wife and I can watch it. I really don't know about Stargate, nor care enough to be sure we both can watch it.
