I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to seeing the new Harry Potter movie.
I feel like when i get to actually sit down to watch it I will be cheering the whole time (which will most likely get me kicked out of the theatre) but STILL!

Watching When They Cry, now that I have received in the mail, the rest of the discs to the series. You gotta watch this! Especially if you love horror genre. Me personally, I don't like horror, but mostly because it sucks, as far as I can tell. But if it's good, or great, I can um well love isn't quite the word I am looking for. shudder. Anyway, this is a very good horror story. After disc one, I thought 'why watch the rest of it? everyone knows what happens in the end.' But then it goes on, and had me thinking this was like repertory theatre, in that the same actors play different things in other plays. But now, maybe that wasn't the case. So far this is a very tightly written anime. I recommend it. Even if we all know the ending before disc one finishes, we don't know the story.

I bailed on When They Cry last night. I just couldn't take seeing the same story yet again, even if it was from someone else's point of view.

I started watching Story of Saiukoku instead. But only from the point where I left off a year or so ago, before it was licensed. I really like this series. So what if it isn't the best anime since Gundam, or whatever. I like it.

Princess Lover, Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, Spice and Wolf II, are the names I remember from anime Friday. I say watch them.

Watching Kanon at home. I hope Netflix isn't out of disc 4. I mean I would like to know the story, but I really don't want to have to buy it just yet. I still need to get hold of vol. 2 of Kenichi. Gotta have my priorities now right?

Netflix does have disc 4 of Kanon!

But Whisper of the Heart came in, and so did Suzuka beforehand. We'll get to it soon.

Got X the movie, and I remember watching this a few years ago. Somewhere.

Watched My Name is Bruce. WE all gotta buy a copy, keep them making films in Oregon!

Saw Dragon Hunter. My wife was thinking about me when at the supermarket. It was not a good movie, but about as good as direct to video gets, eh? Filmed in Utah. I would never have guessed. Utah has forests that would be prime elf habitat? Who knew?

Akia R-16. Good thing my wife didn't see me watching this. Oh my. It wasn't that bad, just more gratuitous fanservice than I really needed.

Finished Kanon. I'd say more but that would be one big spoiler. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Af372EQLck Here's the music that inspired the show, and gave it the name.

Bakemonogatari (series of the season)
CANAAN (Type Moon FTW)
Eve no Jikan (highly underrated scifi OAD)
Hetalia Axis Powers (of course)
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei (WHERE MAH SUBS FOR THE LAST EP?!)
Revolutionary Girl Utena (classic, and rightfully regarded as such)
Saki (moe + mahjong + surprisingly good characters)
Umineko no Naku Koro ni (the original sound novel was better, but I like seeing the metaworld adapted)
Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (love the series, and for that matter love Shaft/Akiyuki Shinbo)

Going to start Aria The Animation and Akihabara@DEEP soon, too.

On a non-anime-related note, I watched Fargo last night, and it was AMAZING. Definitely makes it into my top 10 favorite movies. Excellent neo-noir. Going to check out some other Coen Brothers stuff now.
