My Pocky is bet upon Meg as well, because even though she's the con chair and pretty much represents all authority in Kumoricon, Gus is the mod and this is the forum.

My room is pretty much a 2-foot layer of dirty and clean clothes, followed by a light smattering of papers and candy wrappers and topped off by a nice antigen-filled layer of dust! whheee!!! I made a point to never dust the entire time we've lived in our house X3 yay!

but sometimes once in a blue moon it is perfect and shiny. (but still dusty)

I finally cleaned my room. And rearranged all my furniture (I know have a nice little corner saturated with musical instruments! w00000t!!!) and turned my bed around, and everything seems much cooler for some reason. It was so gross though when I moved my guitar and amp out of the corner there was seriously an inch.5 of dust/lint it was so grossssss.

Well, at least I got rid of all the spiders >_> those ninja spiders are DANG hard to catch

top this. I work 40 hours a week. Take 12 credits in English at university. And I own my home. I live alone, so no one can be blamed but me for not doing dishes, laundry, not mowing the lawn, not cleaning up after 4 cats, or changing water in fish tanks, or watering houseplants.

Dust? Nothing like kitty prints of mud on the just out of the dryer bedspread. Or cat vomit of little furry critter parts on the carpet.

Here it is, what you've all been waiting for. The floor is found and the areas are ready for review.

Here's a recap of the action!

Mila cannot be fooled by the attention of the contestants. Cozying up will not affect the score! But is encouraged....

Now, on to the battle -

PRELIMINARY ROUND
Meg goes for the extra points in the preliminary Bed Making Challenge. This time honored game is often lost due to bad pillow formation!

The attempt - careful....

SUCCESS!

No matter, mutters Contestant 1...I'm in with the judge!

MAIN ROUND!
Mila presents tonights Secret Ingredient....
SUPPLIES!

And the challengers commence with the Main Round fight to the end!!!

Rian is obviously going for end use, converting his area into the MAIN KUMORICON REGISTRATION BASE TO END THEM ALL! He deftly manouvers supplies into the area, simultaneously coercing mess out of the area, and into shiny new boxes!

End result:

Iris inspects

ITS GOOD!

Meg takes a more minimalistic approach, using the basic ingredient found in the time honored DS Game "Cleaning Mama" - "floor". Her supplies are used sparingly, so as not to overwhelm the "floor" with clutter.

End result:

Spotless results!!
BUT THE ACTION DOESN'T STOP THERE!!

"HA Contestant 1! I will show you to manipulate the great judge of Iron Housekeeper! I will now use 1/5th of my power!"

FOYER BLASTERU!!!

SHE'S DONE IT! MEG HAS CLEANED THE ENTIRE HOUSE!

This is totally unprecedented! Does a clean house even occur in today's world? How will we survive in the glow of FLOOR?!

This is completely off the scale for our judge's powers, so we leave it to you! Will it be the Registration Area or the Unprecedented Clean? Vote now for the winner!

@ jaybug -
We actually did the work over the course of a week. The "Challenge Areas" took about three days. All of the pics of the house are from that time. It just took a while to post.

This was a huge deal for us, as the house hadn't been completely clean since we moved in 6 months ago. We moved from a two-bed/two-bath with dining area to a small retro apartment downtown. It's less than 700 square feet total. We had to downgrade quite a bit to fit. I'm still adjusting to the lack of dining area, as that was our computer room/ sewing area.

i should do somthing like this cuz seriously my room is trashed and i going to be moving and i need to fit all i need for 6 months in to 1 storage bin, 1 drawer, and what ever else i can sneak in but, i am a fabric pack rat i love all my pretty cloth, and i need buttons and zippers n stuff

Me too. My apartment has been a couple steps away from being a mess for way too long. And the dishes in the kitchen are piling up to the point where I'm almost out of clean ones.
