I read every Garfield comic in the archive from the first one (what was that... June 1978?) to January, 2007. I think there was easily over 10,000 comics there.
Man, I make myself want to cry sometimes.
I actually really like this one arc from, I believe, 1988 which was completely serious, Garfield was having a crisis as he had to deal with the fact that he was completely alone. It was REALLY trippy and, if I may quote a friend of mine "Now that's a Garfield comic that's life changing."
