Ever see a stranger and think they'd make a great cosplayer?
« on: March 14, 2007, 02:55:02 am »
Sometimes I see people at work and I'm like, "OMG, THAT PERSON WOULD MAKE A GREAT [person] COSPLAYER!"

Like I saw a really tall skinny girl with blonde hair and I'm like, "Dude, she could totally be Maetel from Galaxy Express 999!"

Tell me I'm not the only one..

Funny, I just saw a girl who looked like she would be perfect as Ryuunosuke from Urasei Yatsura just an hour ago. Been seeing a lot of this of late. Even saw a Chiyo-chan.

lol... i work at Burgerville and i see a lot of people that make me say to myself "I wonder if they like Anime... Because they would look good as *add in character name*"

Which Burger Ville? I was at the one in my city and one of the girls there recognized my Kenshin t-shirt. Turns out she also went to Kumori-con. Always looking to meet new people from my city that like anime.

I think it's a sign that it's been too long since any of us was at an anime con.

I have one friend with hair so frizzy we say that he's a starving Hagrid.

I know I've seen other people but none of them come to mind.

Plans for Kumori '08
Hei (Darker than Black)
Ichiro (Nerima Daikon Brothers)
Kyon (Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu)
Possibly more...

Once on the MAX I saw a guy who's basically Scott from Pokémon's double. He even had sunglasses.

I see lots of people who'd make good cosplaying while at work, too.  In fact, I saw one young lady who looked like she'd make a good Sister Rosette.
My cosplay plans for 2022 (thus far): Vanir from Konosuba
My son's plans this year (thus far): Penguin Chiyo-chan from Azumanga Daioh

I notice it all of the time... in fact, when I'm bored in class, I pay attention to people's features and almost critique them in cosplaying *sigh* I'm a freak xD

I have two friends who are twins that could look exactly like the twins from Ouran High School Host Club.

Another one has the height, build, and common sense level to be Kuwabara from YYH, and yet another can look exactly like Itachi from Naruto.

...Oh, and another who looks like Gaara from Naruto, and one looks like Haruko from FLCL...

You know, I could probably go on forever....

I saw someone at Sakura-con who didn't cosplay at all & thought his face was perfect for Prince Phil (from The Slayers).  Ironically enough, he played Prince Phil in the BESM game at S-con.
