Boxing Day, celebrated in G.B. the day after X-mas, when people would pack up the boxes that all the presents came in. I guess they figured they need a whole day to break everything down. Make the house presentable again. They didn't have curbside recycling back then. Silly Victorians.

for skipping??? or skilling? for skipping out on something i usually say something along the lines of "hey i was scheduled for a doctors appointment" its pretty legit and if they say anything just say your mom scheduled it and you didn't really know about it. For Skilling i dont know what the hell you'd do.
