A gal named Cleolinda Jones started writing them on a whim a few years back and it became a huge phenomenon on LJ and elsewhere. She's actually got a book with more but she maintains the LJ for new ones as she writes them. Some of her best work is on the Harry Potter Movies.

She just did Goblet of Fire this week, I suspect in preparation for when this movie comes out.
