Ok everyone I am definitely an 80's kid, I mean I was born in 85 but I still loved all of the cartoons from that time.  I'm sure I'm not alone!  What was everyone's favorite 80's cartoons?

Mine were Jem & the Holograms, My Little Ponies, and Care Bears for the most part.  I watched alot more though!

For my birthday a few years back my friend bought me season 1&2 of Jem in the DVD boxset, then I bought her the next part, it rocked! I want them to come out with the end!  But seriously like watching the show all at once when you are older makes you start to question weird things you never noticed before haha.  And they have the best promo commericals about like "don't do drugs" and stuff

I need to watch them again <3 truly outrageous!

I'm hard-pressed to remember what was the 80's and what was early 90's (it was pretty much one loooong decade). However, I did used to really enjoy David the Gnome, Muppet Babies, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, among others I can't currently recall.

Johny Quest was pretty cool, but did anyone ever catch the "next generation" of Johny Quest? IT wasn't 80's, it was 90's, but it was amazing, in my opinion. The plot was significantly darker and somewhat like a mix of X-files and the old Johny Quest.

Did I ever mention my Project  "Sunbow 2050" a cross over of all the 80's cartoons by Sunbow Studios   GI Joe, transformers, JEM, My Little pony and Inhumanoids etc

Sunbow 2050 takes place after massive earth changes have brought on World War Three ware there was massive use of WMD.  The earth is now thought to be barren and covered in a dust cloud that blocks the sun. Before the war all but one transformer have left for Cybertron to fight their own war back home. For 50 years survivors have lived underground in the old transformer cave in Oregon ware they also had moved the super computer synergy by mule train in hopes they could save all human knowledge.  In the final battle General Flint died defending the evacuations into the tunnels.

Now 50 years later the dust is settling from the sky and the people briefly venture out during the day although at noon it is still only a red twilight sky.  Some of the children playing on Flint Mountain see a ray of sun peak through the perpetual cloud cover and named is a Sunbow.  Ware the sunlight touched the earth they find ‘flowers’ The children hurriedly take the flowers (Mountain thistle) to the leader of the enclave the Lady Grey, widow of General Flint.

Lady Grey calls a counsel with the other leaders.  The blind Master Harper Jerrica sings a song of the earth reborn.  Arcee the last autobot on earth (And seriously showing her age) gives a more scientific explanation that it is merely one of the larger remaining fragments of the moon having a gravitational effect on the dust cover.  It is decided to send a mission out to explore.  The first two are Larissa Fairborn granddaughter of the departed General Flint and the clan leader Lady Grey, and Jessica Morgan the Journeyman Harper daughter of the Master Harper.   Arcee is wearing out and has spent her last years to build a lithe new non-transforming robot body in fashion Purple from the last of the transformer spare parts and she transfers her spark to the new human sized C.H.I.C.K. body but not all personal memories survived as Arcee 2.0 or A2.

In their first adventures in the wasteland they encounter a hidden valley of intelligent mutated horses and one of the last survivors joins them and they encounter a living plant girl escaping rock men.

The main villain will be “The Empress” formerly the Baroness who has used some sort of life steeling technology to stay alive and nerdelicious. The team the Empress sends out is her daughter Destra (also with glasses), a spider robot Vixacon, one of the new misfits and they are latter joined by an evil black pony and a rock/lava girl

Some ware I have a movie outline about Zorro’s Great Great Great Great grand daughters fighting crime in modern LA called Z-Chicks.   It's a direct Sequel to the Zorro movies of a few years ago.  The girl’s grand aunt (To be played by Catharine Zeta Jones with a gray streak in her hair) brings them into the family secret when a great evil arises in East LA They find out that under Casa Vega the families Mexican restaurant is that secret hidden training cave from the movie.  The three cousins are all different and take different approaches to life and crime fighting.  The Gangster Girl on the road to Jail is the gunman who now has something to fight for.  The studious one going to colleges on a fencing scholarship uses a sword of course and tries to outthink the villains.   The mousy Mexican Holly Homebody Sunday school teacher who stayed home to help run the restaurant surprises every one and excels with whips and hand to hand combat.

heh, same here. I used to wait around and hope that Wild n' Crazy Kids would come around my town. The closest I got to was when there some kind of Nickelodeon Festival and they had a lot of local games and contests in this one place downtown I think. I won a Rugrats figurine set, w00t! lol

Anyone else used to watch Stick Stickly on U-Pick Nick? That was the golden era of Nickelodeon, in my opinion. All the greatest shows and stuffs.

Legends of the Hidden Temple. Another amazing show, which Nick is actually being smart about. They brought it back into their weekly routine. It is on weekdays at like 6:30 or 7:00am. On the regular Nick channel. Yeah, I used to watch that show but never wanted to be on it because it seemed like some of the events were pretty rigged. Like, the "bull-riding" game, where two people get on what is essentially two manually-powered mechanical bulls, and they have to hang on while two workers jostle them violently. Well, every single time I have watched that event, it is always the same side that the people fall off of. Kinda suspicious....heh.
