Ok seriously who wants to go camping?  Haha I don't know how to go camping and I don't really have any camping equipment, but I am sure someone knows how and is willing to take me haha!

I can buy hotdogs and juice!

Seriously though a Kumoricon camping experience would rock!

That would be cool. You better see how far we have to go to get a park with available campsites. In Oregon campsites are booked solid a year in advance, generally.

I can BBQ a crawdad omelette on a Hibachi! Man that was good!

Sounds awesome!  I love camping and do it all the time!  Also, all my favorite places to camp are not done by reservation.  Usually you have to do a short hike to get to them, but they're worth it.  I definitely favor places where I can swim, and I have plenty of gear - tent, propane stove, hammock, etc.

I don't  have much camp gear left.  I was planing a big camp trip to Hawaii or china 15 years ago then I had a little stroke and have not camped since then.  I loaned some one my tent and they brought it back with out the polls so I told them to take it back until they found the polls and when I helped them move a year later I found my polls but not the tent and I found my camp cook kit that serves four.  I do have machettes, knives, guns and a pair of the biggest stainless steel hot dog sticks any one has ever seen and 4 matching mashmellow sticks.  Every thing you really need for a fun week end

Awesome!  Who says there are no girls on the internet.  Apparently I became one just by virtue of showing up here!  IRL, I'm a 30 year old salaryman!

Good for you Doh I'll probebly need that machine in a few years.  I'd have to bring my medication for my Blood Pressure, Blood sugar, Insulin and keep me away from the Sugar, Salt, Caffeine, Purenes, Protien, Starch and fat.  So really all I can eat is pepsi and cheap hot dogs.

me and my buddies got lots of gear I think I still have a 4 room tent n stuff can sleep like 9 people pretty easy just gotta get buddy buddy with the person n stuff lol

that and I got propane stoves and everything hell I could probably even bring a trailer for those people who need more creature comforts

Well, I AM a catgirl!  Sure, though, I can plan something quite easily.  It would help if all participants bring backpacks or at least help to carry some of my gear, since I can't carry it all.  I'm thinking Buck Lake, on the south slope of Mt Hood would be great.  It's a short easy hike (less than a mile from the car) beautiful, and lovely for swimming - I have extra tubes to float in!  Three people can ride in my car, and I have a tent with room for four.  I recommend leaving early on a friday.

Actually, I'm planning on spending almost every weekend this summer camping if at all possible, so pretty much any one would work for me.  It's also very easy for me to leave work early on Friday, or just not go in at all.

oowow that weekend is right before 4th we is busy that weekend and probably the next cuz kendo boyfriends parents are in town and as he just reminded me all of his friends birthdays are in july (really seriously saterday after saterday after saterday, starting with his) and a baby shower wow i is super busy next month  :shock:
