^ 2 years or so, I gave up the retainer, it was too painful to put on and take off. My teeth have shifted back, it doesnt really bother me much. I only wanted them to close the gap in my two front teeth and those arent shifting back, Theres a small strip of kevlar holding them together in the back.

V Do you think its messed up that people will put themselves through so much pain and permanent additions (ie random metal strips) to feel good about themselves?

^ No diseases, I have often been a victim of Seasonal Affliction Disorder. Its a disorder where mood tends to follow the season, for example I usually get pretty depressed in the winter, its either that or a series of really shitty things happening to me every winter. I have found good ways to combat it though and have been depression free this entire fall and winter. =)
