Hello everyone! I am new to Kumoricon so I do not know if there are large turnouts for FMA folks. I am shocked to not see a thread on this so I was wondering if anyone was planning to go and what day the photoshoot might be planned for if there is one. By the way, I will be going as Armstrong just like I did at Sakura Con if anyone remembers me from there ^_^.

my friends and i are doing FMA. let's see.. i'm going as scieska (military uniform, although wearing pants), my friend is going as hawkeye, and another of my friends is doing izumi. one of my guy friends also wants to go as roy. and if we can talk one of my other friends into doing it, we want her to be ed.

but a photoshoot would be awesome! yay, so glad you posted this~

and armstrong is awesome. he doesn't get enough cosplay love. rock on to you. :]

I will be attending as well with my sister. I will be going as Riza Hawkeye again and my sister has retired her Izumi costume from Sakuracon and will be debuting at Kumoricon as Catherine Elle Armstrong (Armstrong's little sister).

okay, well my group has (for sure):
- izumi
- scieska (that one'll be me :3)
- riza
- roy

and maybe, maaaaybe an ed. if i can get my friend to sit down and get into the series. :]

but when are we planning this? so far my group is going to another photoshoot on sunday afternoon (we're doing ouran host club too), but any time is good.

No one's posted in this for a while so I thought I would on progress.

Naturally, my Hawkeye outfit is finished (and the jacket it no longer reversed and only looks a little weird, yay!). I have a better wig this year that isn't layered so it won't fall out of its clip so often. I had to bobby pin the hell of the one I had last year.

We're going to be working on my sister's costume for Catherine probably tomorrow and we got shiny material so she can sparkle all the time. X3 And we got her wig. Any suggestions on getting just one little piece of hair to stand straight up then curl at the end? O.o

eep, i accidentally ordered the wrong costume so it looks like i may be going as maria ross instead. huzzah for the minor characters anyway!

i'll still try and scrounge together a pair of jeans and a turtleneck for scieska though. :]] i'm too fond of the idea to let it go quite yet. looking forward to the photoshoot either way!

Yay for FMA!
A smaller rendition of my group will be appearing at kumoricon. At sakuracon you might have seen the Shamballa cosplayers. Myself as Ed, Nutcracker as Heiderich, Rynn as Alphonse, Sumikins as Winry and KawaiiKitten as Noah. Unfortunaly Rynn and Sumikins cannot come to Kumoricon, but the rest of us will! Nutcracker will also be sporting her Movie Al costume too!

oh! We also have our series costumes, myself as Ed again. Wow im boring. Nutcracker as Roy/Izumi and KawaiiKitten as Roze. Our friend Allison will probably borrow Nutcrackers Izumi for a portion of the con! See you there!

No Rynn =( Oh man I was hoping she would be back for Kumoricon. Will she return to SC next year? On a separate note it is good to see that the rest of your group will return BlitzAceTidus =). It looks like we will get a good sized group at the con. Anyone know when the photoshoot is planned for?

Yeah I'm coming as Martel again like I did for SakuraCon but it's only one of the costumes I'm bringing so I don't know what day I'm wearing it but probably Sunday as that's the day of the scheduled FMA photoshoot but I might do her pre-chimera, no tatoo makeup less work

My friend and i are gonna try and go as Edward! neither of us have a jacket we can use. so unless we can find one at the kumori con store we might have to just be edward in all black

The con does not start until Saturday so many of us would not be there for a Friday shoot. I vote sometime on Saturday or late Sunday after the Guilty Gear one since that will as large or maybe larger.

Guys, I saw one very firm vote for that time. If you guys want it at another time I'll list it at another time.
My list is not the word of the convention, a decree which must be obeyed. My list is info I've gathered from what you guys are saying.

At this point I see two people who want it on Saturday. I suggest you guys PM some of the other people in the thread and get them to post their vote. I'll change my List when you decide.

I'll just say this, I'm doing cosplay chess in my FMA cosplay on Monday, But I'm really open to Sunday afternoon/evening as well, it's just that scrubing the sharpie off is a pain.

Fortunately we've pulled some strings and MAY be able to stay for the photoshoot. It's still iffy though.
