Well we have every other "what are you doing now" threads, so I'd thought that I'd start one about books! I love to read, and I love getting suggestions for books (No Manga Please)!

Young Miles by Lois McMaster Bujold
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey

im usually reading at least five books at once, but now im curently reading my dnangel books over and over again due to the fact that i ran out of books to read... very bored now.

Hmm, manga-wise: Claymore, Model, Ragnarok, iD_ENTITY

I have tons of books that I want to read, and hopefully I will get to them this Summer. Ideally, I will be reading "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", "The Viking Gods", re-reading "Beowulf", probably more. Kahlan would love me to read the Sword of Truth series, but who knows if that's gonna happen or not, heh

Um, although I've taken a brief break from reading manga, (just until I finish moving), I'm reading Excel Saga, Chrono Crusade, & maison Ikkoku.

I'm just about to read Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk.

He wrote Fight Club. I suggest everyone picks up one of his books. They are definitely mature reading though.

I am currently addicted to Scott Westerfeld's books of all sorts.

I just finished reading the midnighter's series, and am reading Peeps now (good vampire book)

Well if you go by what I'm reading at this very second then your thread but the book I'm currently reading is a book on shinto. I just happen to be interested in Eastern philosophy and religion at the moment. Then backed behind that I have two a newtype magazine I havn't read yet and a shonen jump thats begging me to read it.

Meanwhile, last night, I finished volume 4 of Emma! OMFG! Melodrama, and moe moe maids! I can't say enough good things about this manga. It helps that I'm a total Anglophile.

I'm about done with my book on Shinto and then I'll be perusing the Shinto Prayer book I got with it. I like how they put the prayers with english and Japanese.

I recently started The Windup Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami. I'm really impressed - he's a terrific writer!
