OK, now I've just GOT to find that website I saw a while ago. The fabric is painfully expensive - we're talking about $1500 / YARD - BUT, it's this computer controlled fabric that allows you to show any image you want on it. The original idea was to use it as camoflage because you could wear it and have it look like whatever's behind you - and since the "color" of the fabric is basically a moving image from a movie camera, the fabric would change as you moved or stuff behind you moved such that the wearer of the fabric is essentially invisible. So instead you could use an image of a bonfire (with a cute face on it).... and bada bing bada boom... calcifer.
Unfortunately, it'll take about 4 -5 yards of fabric to cover you completely, so that's 6000-7500 for the costume. Gee, it's more than your car is worth, isn't it?
Ghaaaaa... there are times when I really wish I were obscenely wealthy....
