Short Hops late at Night

I had to cancel my hotel room because of cash problems. When you have only $20 in the entire month that is not going into the pockets of your landlord 9don't ask) you obviously cant; afford a $90-a-night hotel room.

Getting to the con is no rpoblem, as I live in downtown Portland. what i;'m wondering is whether there is going to be any sort of clearinghouse at the convention where late at night 9and I plan to stay very late) I can get a lift back to my apartment on SW 13th and Washington (and Alder) to get a few hours of sleep before going back to the con.

Since I can;t pay for crash space, this seemed to me the best option, but it will have to be improvised because I don't know exactly what I'll doing. I only know that oif i stay 24/7 and don;t get any sleep I'll be a total mental wreck by Monday morning....

Beocming a mental wreck by the end is all part of the fun, though, isn;t it? Anyway, since I have a room now I'll have someplace to get three or four hours of sleep a day -- and then be able to go home and sleep for a day afterwards.
