Vancouver Hotel Room Availability Status?

Hey guys,
I've been trying to book a room at the Vancouver Hilton and it's showing up as no available rooms during Kumoricon w/or w/o the con code.

I was told to check the Red Lion down the street, but they don't have any rooms available, either. It forwarded results for the Portland Airport Red Lion, instead...

Is there a post or update on the hotel status and what the recommended overflow hotels are if the Vancouver Hilton is booked?

I'm not familiar with the area so I wasn't sure what the other choices would be, otherwise I think we may have to spring for a suite at the Hilton Homewood a bit away.

The hotel and the Red Lion at the Quay are full???

Before you try to book at the airport I recommend the Red Lion on the River at Jantzen Beach, they are a lot closer, though you'll be driving from your room to the con.

Thanks for the reply. I will certainly look into that hotel as well. I don't mind driving since we're coming down from Seattle. Apparently the Hilton Homewood suites are only about a mile away. ^__^

Good to hear. On behalf of the Staff, I ask that you hold onto that reservation and try to talk to Hawkeye and Kylite. They are trying to get rooms for yojimbo.

The Oxford Suits across the river are a pretty decent price.  (Reserved through hotels.com, about $93 a night for 2 people)
