Especially since at last SakuraCon there were NO JADES that showed up to my shoot when I was Dist...D= It was depressing.

I have a feeling that will happen again at Sakuracon, since our other Jade is going t be dist on the same day the rest of us are XD. We can always hope... maybe I just need a Jade plushie... hmm...

Hehe. Or I could be Jade and not Dist that day if you need me to be. xD *shrug* It's a long ways away, so we'll just have to talk about that later.

I'm back in town now, so this is what's up from everything that's been said...

~Meeting at Kirk's panel on Sunday at 10 (if that is the official time)
~There are TWO photoshoots, one at 11am and one at 2pm, both at the park
~May end up just sticking together and hanging out between them
~Depending on my cousin's schedule we MAY have a good photographer taking pictures for us that I can send to everyone

That's it so far, I'll try to be on the forums as much as possible, but I still have to finish up my groups costumes.

hmm, yeah. I guess there will be slight differences in the 11 and 2 photoshoots, but we'll be attending both, as far as I know... I can't wait to see everyone! And we'll definitely post pics from both photoshoots online so if you miss one you can see the pics from it, at least.

and is Kirk's panel at 10? does anyone actually know? or are we all just guessing? XD

Pretty sure it's at 10 like you said, but once the official schedule gets posted if they moved it then we can fix the photoshoot time(s) again. I don't know if Tom likes the idea of changing the Tales of ____ shoot so much, but it's not like we can do much about it.

And YAY! I went to meet up with ~Boogiepop~ today and we got quite a bit done on Legretta. We should be finishing her up on Tuesday. Now to work on Anise...

EDIT: Yes it's at 10 in Panel Room 1 the autograph session is at 3 in the rounds *just saw the schedule had been posted on the photoshoot thread*

yeah, I saw it. I think we should meet at the panel, then go from there for the first shoot. Hang around for the others until the autographs and then we can storm him with pics of Jade XD. how does that sound?

I'm like... almost done with Natalia. I have two pieces of velcro to sew on, the ties on her sleeves, and the wig to style and then I'm DONE! I'll post pics when I finish!

I just finished Anise's shoes today. All that's left is finishing the cape, the sleeve cuffs and stocking tops, and to finish tokunaga. I'm planning on finishing her before tomorrow when I help ~Boogiepop~ wrap up Legretta, we'll see what happens. Even I get tired.

Sorry ~Boogiepop~, but it does look like you'll be the only God General. Don't worry we wont gang up on you tooooo badly. *looks innocent*

Shadowfate and I will be Jade and Anise on Saturday and Sunday. ~Boogiepop~ will be Legretta on Sunday only. My cousin will be with us on Sunday to take photos. I still have a lot of work to do to get my other costume and Legretta done for ~Boogiepop~ so I'm off!

Although I'm now contemplating on whether to bring Jade or not...I really want to, but it's a big costume with a biggish prop, and we're having transportation changes where I have to walk two miles to get to a Greyhound bus stop on my last day, and I'm not sure if I want to haul that all with me on a bus. x_x asdfghjkl;;

A couple pieces of bad news...but first a piece of goo news.

Good news: All my Luke stuff is here, everything is on schedule and I have my full costume prepared.

Bad news: 
-My gf might not be able to do tear due to her costume arriving and being to small and not enough time to get the costume fixed.
-I may have to scratch the costume due to my hair being to long for my wig and I can't do short haired squall.  Not to mention many friends would be highly upset if I cut my hair.  I'm currently looking for something to keep my hair underneath like a bald cap but atm I'm having no avail.

Sorry for late bad news guys, hopefully things will work out and the person is just working really hard to get the costume pieces resent and isn't gonna bother having me send them back and that's why I haven't been given a return address yet >_<.

Squallin, there's a wig shop around the convention. Perhaps you can buy a wig cap from there? You can probably just google map "Wigs Portland Oregon" and get the phone number to call and see if you can pick one up before con. If not that you can always try the dealers room too. I know that Sak sold some wigs so I would almost give that if they are there they would be selling wig caps too.

For the wig issue, use a wig cap. My Jade and I both have long hair and we get our hair into wigs easily with one. You can get them at a wig store or you can make one yourself out of nylons. The directions to do it are on cosplay.com. It's fairly simple, and I'm sure even a few hairnets would work instead of a wig cap. I've seen people with waist long hair get wigs on, so I know you can do it!
