Well, After futzing and configuring and things JUST NOT WORKING, I gave up, and registered with a whole new name and account. Acck - so frustrating!

Anyways, this is Guy L, the AMV Contest coordinator, letting go of 'Geirr,' and trying on 'Prinz Eugen.'

We are in the LAST WEEK of the 2007 AMV Contest!
The snail-mailbox and email-box are getting busier than I have EVER seen them!

We have over 40 entries so far and they are STILL coming in.
We have submissions from France, Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, and several states so far, but in the last 4 days AMV creators are checking in from Morocco and Malaysia, and Russia, using music from all over as well: Czeckoslovakia, France, Japan - yowza!

There is of course a Pre-show, and a main show following the contest. I also have some 'off-hours' material and I expect to run some runner-ups during that late-night slot as well.

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYBODY = - This week is the FINAL BIG PUSH!

The video I was planning on entering is far from done, so I'm stuck there. Bah.

Maybe I can pull something off in one night like I did last year, never mind how terribly edited it'll end up looking ;P

That's such an amazing turn-out! Were the entries from such varied countries last year too? That is just awesome! I look forward to seeing them all....and mine! haha
