What do you watch/listen to while sewing/scupting/styling/etc?

So yesterday I finished up nearly 3/4 of my costume assembling at one long, mindnumbing go. For reference, I ended up watching all but the finale episode of an entire season of America's Next Top Model season whatever.

I've discovered I like working on costumes while watching silly fluffy (and often fashion-related) shows like that or E! or Project Runway. Since I now feel very zen and brain dead about actual costuming, I figured I'd see what other people do during their long binges of creative madness.

I tend to just watch anime. Nothing keeps me going like watching an anime from start to finish, and that's a good time to do it too!

I always have music in the background. I prefer listening to the Ouran soundtrack (a lot of classical stuff)...but sometimes I put it on random. Poor mom, she was helping me and had to listen to happy go lucky Morning Musume, loud screamo Dir En Grey, Daft Punk saying "Around the world" a million times and more...

Normally my mom is helping me with my cosplay, so we just talk.  c:

But we do have the TV on too, and I have to agree, E! is lovely for watching while working.
I also enjoy those VH1 'Top 100' things! They don't require a lot of concentration~

I also settle for cartoons. (Mostly the stuff on Nick. Mmm, Spongebob.)

Pretty much whatever I feel like I can watch when my mom's in the room.  xD

So it's mostly stuff like What Not to Wear and Trading Spaces...one time it was The Wedding Singer but I had trouble concentrating.  =o

I usually watch something entertaining on tv (but something that I can just listen to and get the idea). My friend used to have a certain CD that we listened too while we worked, but alas, its lost somewhere XD Recently i've just listened to music that makes me feel like moving around (HALCALI at the moment)

depends on my mood. i listen to stuff anywhere from orchestra to death metal. lately, it's been mostly orchestra.

I had 'No Cars Go' by The Arcade Fire on repeat almost the whole time I was sewing my jacket for Kino.  And some Modest Mouse thrown in there too.

Well, if watching TV it's generally the food channel and whatever is randomly on there. However the past few days I've been listening to the Persona 3 soundtrack we got with the game. Major awesome-ness!
