artist alley question!!!! help please!
« on: September 17, 2007, 07:12:09 pm »
ok so i finnaly desided im going to by a table in the artist alley, but im doing it with a group of people and we have enough prodcuts that we are thinking of getting another table.... is it possibley to pay extra to get two tables? or will on person in my group have to signe up for another one? if so is it possible to request then to be next to eachother? sorry i just have no clue how this works and there wasnt much information on the website for last year besides how much it cost. the reason im asking this though is because it said when you paid the 60 dollers for a table that registration was inclueded in that.

As far as I know you can do all of that stuff. I know vendors can buy more than one booth, but Artist Alley people might have to have two names on two booths. Once you're next to each other you can take out the little barrier though.

Yeah, I would suggest that you guys send an official email to exhibitors@kumoricon.org about the request now since no matter who is elected next month we are 99% sure to have Eric working with the Exhibitors Hall again and he's usually pretty easy to talk to about stuff like this.

Artist's Alley is always lobbying for a bigger spotlight up with the vendors so the more feedback the better.

Even if he wasn't to continue in that position, his term has not ended yet and he is still working that job. And he has opened Artist Alley and Exhibitors Hall registration for 2008 already, and the details are on our exhibitors page:

The exhibitor's hall reads as having room for 87 8ftx10ft booths. However Eric likes to have 10x10 booths put in so it will probably have fewer than that.

Honestly, I would wait until a week after the elections before emailing a second time. Once the elections are done they can restructure the chain of command and return to business as usual. So wait for October 13th.  ;)
